Darktide sound recording guide (in-game, as of September 2023)

In this video you will learn how to record in-game sounds from the game (weapons, characters, voice lines etc.) by going out of bounds in the Psykhanium. You will also learn a method of playing audio files straight from the game's source code.

I extracted all of the audio from the entire game with the sole purpose of ripping all of the male Loner Psyker's lines, because I like him. I am now going through the arduous process of sorting through each and every piece of audio in the game including sfx and ambient. I think I am going to turn into the Joker at this point, but it is worth it for funny shrieking wizard man.

So is there a way to play non-dialogue sounds with the soundplayer script, ive been trying to play the effect sounds for the Beast of Nurgle, but cant seem to get them working

Is there a mod where you can silence the voice lines? I mean just the voice not the entire game itself.
