I think psykers should be another enemy type in the game. Like either as a boss or as an elite unit. They can shoot chain lightning, use forcefields, maybe heal other elites. Something to challenge people more.

Yes ! I keep thinking about that wheb i play. It is well known that psykers can turn to chaos easely and it will be both scary and super cool to fight one. Maybe some lesser ones as elite, or maybe random boss and one very powerfull as a boss. Maybe one who could stun a player or heal all enemies around him. 🤔

@@saloonplay8510 Another thing they could possibly do is when they use their abilities too much or take enough damage, they can open a warp portal and summon like poxwalkers or even a beast of nurgle

Would be a decent way to spice things up given vermintide had Nurgle sorcerers as specials. It would also be a neat way to introduce nurglings from mini rifts from enemy psyker deaths

I've been meaning to try darktide modding. not that it is a huge issue, but first on my list will be any FPS improving mod lol. by the machine god i prefer a high graphic and easier time on my card than graphics lol

My toxic trait is thinking, "Yeah, I could pull this off with that build," but then remember that I'm on Xbox and can't get those neat sights for the hellbore, or aim HALF as good as this 🤓... PC one day

You can use a keyboard and mouse on Xbox. I do it, it helps. Also set every performance setting possible. It helps not DC’ing.

Hello ! Thanks for you’r video it gave me some idea ! Still new on the game so i’m wondering about stamina on curious ? What i am missing, i imagine what does this bonus can give but as i see you spend most of your time shooting so you dont really use it right ? Hey there, you’re fine asking these sort of questions. There aren’t bad questions as long as they’re in good faith. The reason for stamina only curios is due to a mixture of Veteran’s kit and my personal preferences from playing for 2000 hours so far. If you look in the Veteran tree there’s 3 crucial talents called Close Order Drill, Confirmed Kill, and Iron Will. These 3 talents provide the highest effective Toughness in the game through mitigation and replenishment. As long as you are consistently killing Elites/Specials to stay above 75% toughness then all you really need to do at that point for survival is avoid melee hits. Where the stamina comes in is due to general experience from playing the game for so long that I’m more than comfy having glass cannon levels of toughness/hp/wounds due to the talents stated above. I am comfortable enough to make use of a massive bank of stamina without needing the safety net of the other stats. In this case since the stamina always has a benefit to exploit more often such as sprinting, blocking, push attack spamming, or reviving.

The mod makes existing assets usable, FatShark just released the game before they could finish the system, the mod only makes it easily usable to us, it still isn't stable, I've heard that changing receivers on plasma guns makes the game crash

I was under the impression that the Standard Shovel is trash compared to the other shovel, is that just wrong?

Shovels are preference, they’re all good at different things. Standard is easiest light attack combo, doesn’t have a shovel spike special attack but its poke special will stagger all non monster enemies out of their attack frames. Mk3 is best horde combo, mk7 has the most insane single target combo.

Why the 2 and not the Hellbore 1 ?

Mk2 hits enough 1-2 shot breakpoints across many targets at a fast enough fire rate compared to the mk1. It is less likely to overkill on shooter chaff while only spending 4 ammo on a non-crit 1 shot instead of 6 with the mk1. This also means that from every magazine the mk2 has more potential charged shots available. That said the mk1 still slaps but I prefer putting out more shot volume when I play this build. The Mk1 also has an odd higher level zoom when ADSing that restricts fov unless you tweak that setting through a mod.

Maaaan... playin as a Veteran is awful... game is so much easier as a Zealot or Ogrin.. FatShark needs to buff Vets resistance a little bit..

I disagree. Before the major update that completed the Veteran talent tree, Vet was a harder class to use. But with VoC and Stealth there is more toughness/suppression at your disposal. Executioner's Stance is the hardest ultra to use as a Vet.

Lmao, complete opposite. Ogrin is the worst of the classes on average. Its has less than a handful of builds good enough for Aurich. Hit area and damage per second is pathetic for Ogrin. Zealot is very limited compared to Veteran. The veteran kills allot more enemies quicker at close to mid range with almost any ranged build unless you are cosplaying world war 2, using plasma gun, shotgun or pistol. Sure the Ogrin can do one-shot melee hits, but that dps is so slow its not worth talking about. Veteran is way more flexible than Zealot and Ogrin shouldnt be in that conversation. If a Zealot or Ogrin carries a match in Aurich, thats likely a very bad match with a bunch of casuals.

Besides having perhaps a cleaner sight to see around point of aim I don’t get how any other particular mod of mine would be able to print skill.

@@Vamp0613 It was a lighthearted observation. I said this video was good and I meant it. My own vet is a squishy mess and I can't even make it work on damnation right now. If you really want, you can easily undermine my comment by playing a mod free match (keep the stat table obviously) while demonstrating negligible decline in performance.

Hey man, appreciate the discussion. My reply wasn’t an attempt to bash you, but instead a good faith attempt at understanding the perspective that leads to the misconception of darktide mods making the game easier. My list of mods is always public in each video description and the vast majority of them are quality of life for either the mourningstar or psykanium. Of the ones that actually impact in game combat, they either move the UI elements around to my liking, or give a few more exact numbers for me such as my teammates health or ammo. The only exception would be extended weapon customization for sights, and potentially healthbars (of which I’ve set only to see crushers to gauge breakpoints when using stuff accounting for team buffs). If you want unmodded gameplay come back when the rework is out on the 26th since I’m more than certain from seeing what’s coming most if not all mods will break from code references and etc no longer lining up. For the sake of devil’s advocate there *are* mods that I personally consider borderline cheating such as Spidey Sense (gives the friendly fire directional indicators to constantly give positional warnings of incoming specials) that I do not use. I consider it borderline only because there are legit audio concerns either for the hard of hearing or Fatshark’s ongoing issues regarding Poxburster audio.
