TheAdamantGamer PC Not exactly. I play both bass and guitar, and from experience I can say its pretty different. If the song is just power chords then the bass line will be the first note of the power chords, as there isn't much to work with, but say something like the four horsemen where the bass line is really diverse compared to the guitar riff, its much more harder to figure out the bass part. But yeah Am I evil has a pretty easy bass line.

I play both bass and guitar. Thing is the notes on a bass and a guitar are the same. Therefore, if you know what the notes on the guitar is called, and where they are, then you know it on bass as well. This means that it's not very hard for a professional guitarist to play the bass just about decent.
