Or Michael being scared of Martin Madrazzo when he just gunned down like 8 of his men with no problem. GTA has always been about the player being a one man army I don't see why people didn't believe The Lost and the damned would be any different

@@theblacknarutoGTA 5 has more believable MC than TLAD. Michael and Trevor is a veteran criminal, they have dealt with a police army before. As for Franklin, that's why his mission never dealt with the big fish unless it's with Michael / Trevor because he's still new Nico is an Ex-army so they are fine to do some over the top mission right of the bat and Luis mission is slow on the beginning with increasing scale Whereas Jhonny's mission started immediately with a gang war then a police chase making the scene where the police arrest the gang leader meaningless because as a gang you're able to overcome the police. Why would you think they can arrest someone when you consistently decimate a police squad

Matto said his problem is inconsistency but if anything them worrying about having armor for the paleto bay score actually IS inconsistent to how they have operated prior. I mean how can literally anyone pretend GTA 5 doesnt push the one man army feeling even further when in that mission you literally get followed by a tank in a damn bulldozer as its shots are literally pushed away by a forcefield to prevent it from ending it in one or two shots.... but yeah it's not all GTA games and JUST this DLC that makes the player practically invulnerable without much actual reasoning.

I mean In San Andreas, CJ took on the army wearing a wife beater tanktop and an AK47, I recall he jumped the fence literally in one of the missions. As for the GTA V mission, the size of the Police force isn't consistent to the reality of the size of the city. The size of the city wouldn't even have a Police force but rather rely on other towns to fill in its role. Point is, ether the suspension of disbelief should be applied to all or none, you cant pick and choose what is bound in reality and what isnt.

I suppose also a lot of people will simply just forget to call the people for weapons in the first place.

And just because they’re a “criminal biker gang” doesn’t make them nearly as experienced as Michael and Trevor, they’ve done countless jobs, ran drugs, and far more than just Johnny. Edit: And age is a little nitpicky when like I said, they’re highly experienced. Everything is planned out properly instead of just randomly breaking into a prison with little to no planning. Like Matt said at least on the Paleto Score they’re heavily armored and are armed to the teeth from RPGs to Miniguns and MGs.

An explosion...lmao Why do they give you the sawed off shotgun immediately instead of a pistol? The sawed off seems like a weapon you're rewarded after the third mission or something. The low range means you have to put yourself in more danger in an open environment while the enemies are behind vans & other explosives. But Billy's bike is near too & if it explodes mission fail. Honestly I was pissed when I died because I thought I'd have to restart from the very beginning, & drive to three far places again, lol, thankfully it didn't & I took them out the second time.

@@PauloHernandezXD Honestly, bro, I think it made sense to give a sawn off in the beginning. Yes, it's got shitty range and great damage when you're in their face, but you can also fire it from a bike and it will critically damage a vehicle in just a couple of hits, which is probably the best feature about it. Does that mean I like it? No, I only ever used it in the first mission and I always pick up a pistol as soon as possible. Maybe it's just me, but I am always aware of explosive barrels and other explosive obstacles, trying to avoid them as I can. I love GTA IV and its expansions, but it's clearly not for Matt because it doesn't hold his hand like GTA V. I hoped he would like this expansion, but he didn't.

I mean in the libratorium mission in both the ballad and lost and dammed if you shoot niko enough times the text on the bottom says "Niko was hurt" or "Niko was injured" but in the ballad of gay tony if you fail the mission by shooting johnny enough times the text says "Jonny died" or "Johnny was killed" kinda weird since in gta 5 on jimmy laptop we can see niko is doing alright while johnny got killed by trevor in LS

Agreed with you this was easily weakest entry in GTA series but its only a dlc and only purpose was to expand and connect GTA IV main story I highly suggest you to play the 2nd DLC TBOGT, it has much better gameplay , missions , characters and it feels like a stand-alone game Tbogt is my 3rd favorite gta after Vice City and V

In the right game it could be a tactical thing to toss your weapon at an enemy when you're out of ammo or for your gun to degrade when you run out of ammo and so any ammo you find past that point is worthless as you had to move on to a new weapon. For the record with the profile thing. I only know how it worked on xbox since thats what I had. Basically you dint need internet access, you just needed to create a free profile, like customizing a character in a game basically. It was used for achievements and so you could have multiple different "save states" between people wanting to play the game at their own pace.

Johnny goes from thinking it all makes sense until his friend/leader turns crazy, the woman he loves loses her soul from substances, & the family he had is torn apart. And in the end none of this pain & struggle matters because he loses his life to a Canadian. And actually Johnny may be one of the most depressing main characters ever; right next to Vic Vance, &...Trevor. I'm doing a first playthrough in years & the gameplay gets repetitive, but that's true about Rockstar games in general lol

yeah I get it, this is very much a make it or break it dlc for people. making it around bikers and bikes specifically would only fit for a certain amount of people, but everyone else wouldn't be that into it. this dlc is definitely the weakest of gta iv, the ballad of gay tony and the lost and damned. but really? bike controls in gta iv, the game where driving cars already kind of sucks? in gta iv, you drive a bike like a couple times but in this game it is the ONLY thing you do. with all other gta games, you generally had some level of mass appeal assuming a person is into open world crime games at least. the games generally have a lot of stuff to do in them, whether it is the typical story missions or side activities or even having fun in the open world, but I don't feel that way very much in the lost and damned. there are some side activities in this game, same as every other gta game, but I get a strong sense of it all being futile thanks to gta v. now gta iv had the bittersweet and bad endings respectively, but the lost and damned just has a depressing ending which means this game is the second gta game in a row to not give you much if any satisfaction for beating it. now the first time I can at least respect for being the first time, but the second time is just upsetting to me. thankfully the ballad of gay tony fixes this issue and the dlc is overall better because of yusuf amir among other characters. at the end of the day, we are all subjected to our own opinions and it is a bit unfair that people just assume "you are hating the game just to hate it" and while your reasons for disliking the game could be slightly improved, because to many people they will just point to stupid moments in other gta games, I still respect your opinion and kind of agree actually. the fun is what matters, and if you simply don't have fun with neither the story or gameplay, then I can understand that. after all, how can one person expect literally everybody else on the planet to be just as into something as they are? it's simply not possible. oh my bad, habit.
