You know what, considering how samey MM 4, 5 & 6 were, them continuing not only Resident evil, but also Megaman X against the creators' wishes as well as the whole "Super hyper turbo Street fighter 2 limited champion edition" bullshit, I'm convinced that Capcom was always an at least slightly evil company to begin with. It's just that all the people that actually cared have now abandoned them due to the bullshit that they've had to deal with. Inafune, Mikami, Kamiya, every last one that made the company a somebody left them & went on their own, leaving Capcom in the financial ditch that they are in right now.

While many people think of Darkwing Duck as "just a MegaMan clone", which it is to certain degree, I must say, that I like this game a bit more than MegaMans: Darkwing has more abilities, which make the game more varied and fun and also I like jazzy soundtrack, being partial to the jazz / blues in general. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact, that Darkwing Duck was my first "big" game on the NES, no sir!!

I've always, as a whole, loved the soundtrack in this game! Moliarty's Tower and Bushroot's Forest were my favorites, but I have to say that Bushroot's Forest reminds me of a Game Gear Sonic tune (like it might feel right at home in a Game Gear entry.)
@HaveYouTriedGuillotines11 жыл бұрын
Sonic 2 (Game Gear): Sky High Zone and Sonic Chaos: Aqua Planet zone... ..Right? Fun fact: All three of these tracks have swing to them and are written at least partially in a Blues scale. Their similarity is no coincidence! Bit of extra trivia: This Darkwing Duck game's musical composer was Yasuaki Fujita, who also worked on Mega Man 3's music. You'll notice similar vibes in some of that game's tracks.
@philiplonidier11 жыл бұрын
GravianS You're exactly right. Sky High Zone and Aqua Planet Zone both definitely share a similar style to the Bushroot's Forest theme. Also, I was unaware that the composer worked on Mega Man 3's music. I wonder which tracks in particular (didn't Mega Man 3 have more than one composer?)
@Nikos8BitStereo11 жыл бұрын
Apparently the composing for Mega Man 3 was given to Harumi Fujita, who only finished doing Gemini Man and Magnet Man before something happened and then Yasuaki Fujita came in and finished the rest of the soundtrack, making Yasuaki the main composer for most of the game.

This game rocks solid indeed! It was as hard as any Rockman game and as innovative, so knowing no better as a kid, I simply thought that they try to change things up in Rockman 5 the formula got a bit stale after 2 to 4. I mean, Rockman 1 was also quite different from 2 to 4, so it's logical that Rockman 5 should have crocodiles and dog enemies right? Must be the good Doctor Wily taking design cues from nature. yeah. that must be it.
@Yuuretsu11 жыл бұрын
Alas, Capcom became bloated and greedy, like an EA of Japan. Practices like on-disc DLC and wanting to be part of the action-shooter genre, they gave their best franchises the finger and their ridiculous budgets failed to recoup themselves in sales because fans wouldn't have it. Sadly, with Capcom failing to listen to fans, their current state is the only way this could have ended up.
@Nikos8BitStereo11 жыл бұрын
They are better off continuing putting there games on Virtual Console for WiiU/3DS, I'm sure fans would love to experience games they published here rather than deal with what they are doing now.

+Nidrax Beats well I got the console to this day and the tunes are in 50hz man
@nidraxbeats8 жыл бұрын
50Hz is the screen refresh rate. Console CPU/GPU and Sound clock were actually the same or a multiple of it. So on most consoles the sound was still the same on PAL and NTSC, because the songs were made in 150 bpm, just for it to be a nice common multiple of 25 and ~30 (TV refresh rate divided by 2). As I can see you are Pole like me, so I suppose you don't speak about the official Eropean NES, but about Pegasus, which is actually a port of NTSC Japanese Famicom slowed down to work with PAL TV. That's why games on Pegasus and any clone of it are slowed down. Because those are Japanese 59,94 Hz Games working on European TV's 50 Hz.
