I shot and directed these spots for Disney 20 years ago. It's so nice to see, this many years later, that it had such a lasting effect on so many people. And that so many of you, even though so very young, remember it so vividly. It was great fun and a lot of talented people worked on it. What was really interested was that even though Disney is in California, these spots were filmed and edited in Boston.

Man I was 3 years old going on 4 when they used to air this....but I remembered it vividly....I even remembered the "go darkwing go" part....so I search youtube and BAM I find it...its been 20 years but I found it !!! Thank you !!!!

We were lucky, I have a feeling TV will never be that expressive anymore, people are so DARN sensitive these days. Violence in TV or video games DOES NOT influence people to do such, it is their LACK of MORALITY or JUDGEMENT, or MENTAL INSTABILLITY that prompts such behavior. Indeed, the 80s 90s and early 2000s was the golden age of cartoons, but now we have is crap. Only a few shows today are very good, like avatar, arthur or even those from Japan.

on some real shit i was happy this was coming out cuz i thought it was Donald Duck as a super hero but when i found out it wasn't i didn't get mad i just lived wit it and still couldn't wait, i liked the duck related cartoons disney they came out wit like Ducktales and i was so suprised to see Launchpad on this show made me like this more, Dark Wing is the man fo sure, oh yea also liked how Gizmo Duck guest starred

I couldn't agree with you more; "coughs up" is perfect for the "bearable" stuff they have once in a blue moon, both for TV and movies. To me the cartoons and great TV of the 80's and 90's were when, to put it metaphorically, when the nutrition was being taken out of what was eaten. Now the children of today have to deal with the waste of that great era.
