I used to be shit scared of these closing credits - especially the woman screaming, the skeleton and the Thriller-esque music.
@alexcordero84328 жыл бұрын
Awesome and surreal - yet kinda weird how these ending lyrics describe Duckula as an evil and horrific being, opposed to the opening ones which describe him as funny and friendly.
@TheRojo387 Жыл бұрын
Duckula was, ironically, originally that way, until he was destroyed and later revived by tomato juice instead of blood.
@aceotaku9 жыл бұрын
now this is a really good ending animation. very unique, with a great song and unique visuals that mix the horror and silliness that's a part of the show's premise. hell now that I thin about it, this show had great visuals for it time, and its a shame we don't have such great exampels of an ending theme in any tv series perioid.

In the 80s, there were lots of popular ducks. Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Mrs. Beakley, and all them other ducks from DuckTales, Donald Duck (even though he was around before the 80s), Daffy Duck (who's also been around before the 80s), Darkwing Duck, Howard the Duck (comics and movie), and yes Count Duckula. And for the Nintendo, that Duck Hunt shooting video game. Must have been the time to like ducks, huh?

These end credits were the best. Unfortunately they were only in thirteen episodes. Afterwards they altered the credits and took away the flashing red "Duckula" logo, my favourite bit.
@SuperTed19021 Жыл бұрын
*No!* There were 65 episodes of "Count Duckula", all that successfully in Britain anyway (6 September 1988-16 February 1993). And they all featured these end credits.
@ScreenBlaster13 Жыл бұрын
@@SuperTed19021 No! You've misunderstood. The end credits were the same but slightly altered after the first 13 episodes. The rest of the episodes didn't have the flashing Duckula logo and had credit gags instead. I know because I have the complete series box set.

Same goes for the states. Especially with the pattern of the shows only available in the states. Almost everything animated revolves around "let's find this before the bad guys do" and/or the bad guy team of one middleaged female and two males. Funny how I mention those two common parts of today's animation and you mention Pokemon starting the end for the UK. Even the not so original stuff of the late 80s and early 90s had more to them than today's stuff.

@1985Nebraska As another person who was also born in 1985, I myself remember watching this on Nickelodeon as a child. And yes at the end of these credits it did show them three logos of "Cosgrove Hall Productions," "Nickelodeon," and "Thames TV" in that exact order. This and DangerMouse were great shows for us U.S. kids to watch, along with you U.K. kids over there in the heart of Brittan, back in them days of the late 80s and early 90s.
