4:41 yep pinakamagandang mag start talaga sa C kase para saken parang dun yung pinaka foundation ng buong language (for me lang naman) Then ayun nung nag go na kami sa Java, Python kahit papano may similarity siya pero may times talaga na medyo nakakafrustrate mag run ng syntax hahahaha (ewan ko kung may sense). oh my god the back to zero thing where they teach everything again made me feel soooo much better because this online learning had been so hard for me. parang i just did my math classes in a breeze just to pass so i was super worried even if in extremely interested in this course. personally ate, were you good in math? because i'm pretty average in it but super willing to learn for this course cause different na sya from high school where hindi pa naman leading to my preferred career path. i just wanna know how it was for u 😔

Hi! Honestly, I was SO bad at math HAHAHA I mean hanggang ngayon parin naman but taking STEM definitely helped me na parang ah this is whats coming sa CS so na-apply ko mga natututunan nung SHS. Sa CS naman (based on my experience to ah), naranasan ko heavy math like Calculus sa first and second year ko lang. Mostly ngayon ang gamit na gamit namin is algebra lang pati yung concepts talaga around Math like discrete math. Yung mga proving and logic stuff na kami. Wala na kaming may solving na need pa ng mga calculator ganern ganern.

@@darladvd omg Ateee 😭😭 im on g12 and same i was so happy na wala na kong math classes this first sem kasi ININDA ko talaga yung calculus ko nung g11 HAHAHSHAHA you give me so much confidence na it would be fine even if di ako super genius in Math as long as I'm very ready to learn again and be passionate about the course. I really admire u ate :") I hope soon I can be where you are now and we both become successful in the field hehehe.

Kayang kaya mo ‘yan! Swear di talaga ako matalino or anything but it’s the passion that motivates me to study hard. Share ko lang like nung SHS ako , line of 8 ako sa Calculus class namin. Tapos nung first year ako, NAKAKWATRO AKO SA CALCULUS 🥺 (4 yung highest namin sa univ. That’s like 97-100). As in yun siguro pinakatumatak sakin sa first year HAHA hanggang ngayon hindi ko ma-imagine na nagawa ko un. Kaya keep going lang! Hello po, do they allow calculator on math classes (Calculus, Linear Algebra)? I am not that scared naman, pero I find it time consuming without one, and also there are functions na almost impossible to solve mentally.

Haii ate. I just wanna ask for some advice. I'm an upcoming grade 11 student po and I still don't know kung ano dapat kong i-take, Accountancy ba (ABM) or ComSci (STEM). Personally, feel ko, yung puso ko nasa computer science, kahit na wala pa akong background about comsci, bet ko siya. The thing is, natatakot lang ako na baka after 4 years of studying, hindi enough yung skills ko para sa mga work. I'm so afraid. Unlike sa Accountancy, may board exam, may license, sure sa trabaho. Pero sa totoo lang, feel ko hindi ako magiging masaya kung accountancy yung kukunin ko :(( Yung tipong nanonood ako ng iba't-ibang vid about other courses, makita ko lang maski isang vid about comsci, bumabalik yung loob ko. Should I take the risk po and believe in myself?

You can try watching this if you want: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWa2iHqNicmZY5o :)) I understand the fear and I'm proud of you na kahit takot ka, 'di mo agad shinut down yung thought na kumuha ng ComSci. Since Senior High School palang naman and your heart is set on CS, I suggest you should go to STEM na. Going to a different strand or course, baka mapuno lang ng what ifs isip mo. Do what will make you happy and take the risk. I believe in you and you should too. Wag mo pangunahan sarili mo na baka di mo kaya. Additionally, tech-related jobs is in demand too :))

Hi po ate Darla, few questions lang: -Do you have any tips po on how to code on your own for beginners? Like na-s-stuck po ako lagi sa tutorial, I'm always clueless kung ano gagawin next. -Is copying code po (yt tutorials) also a good practice? I feel like copying doesn't do much and relates to the first question on whether it will help you po to code on your own or not -Kanya kanya po ba kayo ng paraan sa pag code or is there only one correct method/code when it comes to coding? Like for example pag may problem sa test , is there only one certain way to write the correct answer/code or multiple ways? Thank you po😊

Hi! 1. What do you mean by nastustuck sa tutorial? If ever that means na you don't know what to do next after you watch, search for sample problems and try to solve it. If ever that means na di mo naman nagegets yung tutorial, I suggest you look for another video or site na mas maiintindihan mo yung tinuturo. 2. Di natin maiiwasan magcopy ng code minsan but make sure na gets mo yung cinocopy mo and talagang suitable siya sa problem na you're trying to solve. Hindi pwedeng basta copy and paste lang without understanding. I suggest if nahihirapan ka na talaga magcode saka ka magsearch. Hindi yung pagbigay sayo ng problem, ay search agad. 3. May kanya-kanya tayong way kung paano magcode but sometimes sa exams or seatworks, may requirements na need kasama sa code mo. For example, ang requirement dapat gumamit ng 2 for loops, array, etc...
