Love the "nearly secondary" pattern the blocks make without sashing. It's looking so primitive and cozy...just adorable! Nice colors❤

Since you asked, I prefer your blocks without sashing. But you seem to have a way with fabric choice and quilt layout I dare not tell you what to do. Looking amazing.

Looking great. Yes the pop of blue was needed. I think sashing depends on how big u want the quilt. I would wait until done and audition sashing by spreading out some sashing fabric then put the blocks on top, then audition some border, and see how sashing looks with the border. U could even do that after making the April block and ponder how it looks as u go. I often do that and take some pics on my iPad, in various layouts, borders, to compare for awhile without having it all laid out on the floor. Can’t wait to see the next ones. Happy quilting. I also love seeing what interesting fabric I can find at yard sales, fabric sales and the like. I like the large pieces of fabric to showcase the fabric, maybe I need to make this or at least print the instructions.

Super Cute! I would leave out the sashing.. each block already has it's little border...and without the sashing, it looks more like a puzzle quilt, making you wonder where the blocks begins and ends...making it less formal looking.

love this series on both youtube channels, I'm not sure about sashing - think you should wait till you have all 12 then decide! Love the log cabin fabric❤❤

Love your blocks, they are coming together nicely. I think it would look nice with or without the sashing. I'm leaning towards no sashing. It's kind of cool how the blocks fit together and create another pattern. Thansk for sharing.

Ive added a 1.5 in boarder and will use that for the ragging.

I like with the dashing and I think with 12 it will really need some eye resting space.

I like it without sashing but I think It would set off the individual blocks nicely with sashing too!😮

I think it looks so neat without sashing. They blend so well together and sashing might break it up too much and make it more blocky and less blended. If that makes any sense 😂
