A gorgeous spot to stay there on the lake, and a fantastic part of the country to travel through. We've never seen it with those water levels though! Looking forward to the next instalments very much. Safe travels, A&J

Beautiful country but I would have liked a tour around the villages and towns. I have walked Louth to Tilpa 4 times and I am still in awe of the raw beauty.
@nowhereboundtouring3 жыл бұрын
Wow, Louth to Tilpa is a great feat well done, it is beautiful countryside. We do tend not to hang around in towns and villages at the moment with C19 and everything but thank you for the suggestion. Cheers Katty

Great video thanks for posting We were to leave for the Darling river run in 3 days Looks like we will put it off for another month due to COVID We’ll get there soon Can’t wait to see the rest of your videos on the Darling

Hi, the weather will be better in a month on a bright note. Hopefully they can sort out this c19 stuff quickly so people can travel again. The Darling River and the communities along the route are great. A must is staying in Tilpa opposite the pub 👍 I believe most nights the fire bin gets lit and the locals are great. Stay safe and hope you can get out and about soon Cheers Katty and Karl

Do you ever get the urge to wait Katty to get close to the door of the truck and roll it forward a little?? :D Great series so far... Come across it by accident ..
@nowhereboundtouring3 жыл бұрын
Yep, but gets a little more dangerous with a truck…. Can’t see everything and you need to climb up in front of the wheel, but it is still 😄

Watching how resourceful you guys are , what did you do in your pre touring life?
@nowhereboundtouring3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ian, we had a self sufficient off grid goat farm (for meat). We had a on farm shop that we sold our meat and produce on weekends. We both worked full time also Karl was a project manager and qualified sparky and manager of hospital administration.

Hey guys love the vids, just wondering what your van weight is and the tow capacity and weights of the truck are? My family and I are looking at a 23’ van ourselves and curious/worried about weights. Cheers guys
@nowhereboundtouring3 жыл бұрын
Hi sorry for my delay, our van is 4.5t but we can only do 4t for gcm, the truck is about 6.8t. We have everything we need spares etc and we are under the 11t gvm. We would probably go a 22 foot van for easier towing. Do you have children travelling with you?
@optimuserectus72653 жыл бұрын
@@nowhereboundtouring thanks for the info. Yes we have just the one child with us. It will be our home for hopefully 12 or more months so weights are a concern. Looking heavily into the NPS as a long term tow vehicle, seems to tick a lot of boxes with out the crazy price other options are to tow heavy.
@nowhereboundtouring3 жыл бұрын
That’s why we went for the NPS, it’s not perfect, but very good especially when you compare price and durability to the American trucks. Cheers, karl
