☕ My Harvest Apple tea recipe:
2-3 teaspoons rooibos tea
3 cardamom pods
4 star anise branches
half a cinnamon log
a few dried apple pieces
a dash of ground cinnamon
a dash of spiced red apple cider (I added this in because when I looked at almost every one of my autumn apple teas, it has "natural flavors" in there, so the apple cider mixture gives the tea a stronger flavor, this is the kind I used: tinyurl.com/3h...)
To the tea I also added some vanilla almond milk and a few drops of maple syrup in lieu of honey. Feel free to modify it to fit your liking! It's very mild since it's an herbal non caffeinated tea and doesn't have any "natural flavors" added, but I hope you enjoy! Steep for 8-15min

something I love about Desi's videos is that they're still so human. A lot of content creators only show you their final, perfectly round cookies, or the tops of their pumpkin pillows. But Desi is honest about the imperfect nature of her crafts! Now I've only been in the store once. I didn't buy anything. Huge store. One of the largest! Portland Oregon. Yeah, mine too, but where I live it's still summer... a slightly cooler version 🤔... but still rather inferno-esque 😓🔥😮‍💨... I wish for a moment that fall will come, but from my experience it usually changes from extreme summer to quite mild winter. Our fall lasts about two and a half days... 😂 Lol... When I was a little girl, here in Italy there was a FANTASTIC autumn fair in a country villa called Villa Pat!! It lasted a weekend and it had farm animals, food, music, it was astounding. Plus the posters for the event had always the same picture on them, so when they appeared in town, it was: "Oooooooh, there's Villa Pat!!!!! I relate so much to this being my season as well. This time of year has always felt the most magical to me and autumn is one of my favorite things in life that gives me such a genuine sense of joy. I dream of living somewhere like New England someday where I can experience autumn in all of its glory. I live in southern Alabama and have lived in the south my entire life. I haven't traveled much, and I have always fantasized about living somewhere with four distinct seasons. We get very little fall foliage here, so I try to romanticize every bit that I can. The few trees that change, the few crisp nights, and the ongoing fall weather in the winter are things that I hold onto and make a point to appreciate. Despite the weather, the autumn spirit and all of the festivities excite me and give me a wonderful feeling of nostalgia. I always felt a little special with my birthday being on the fall equinox. In Virginia, fall actually comes on time. Here in Texas, we don't dare pull out our cool weather clothes until "false fall" is over 🥵 However, I still make my own pumpkin spice coffee and I started making some lightweight clothes in autumn colors. I am so ready for fall 😍 this is such a random question but how do you keep on top of dusting all your decor, books, etc? Do you dust regularly or just kinda let it go until you switch it out for the next season? I'm so bad at keeping up with that stuff and it's the main thing that keeps me from putting out more decor, I can't keep up with the dust and I'm allergic to dust mites 😭 (and my place is messy enough anyway lol)

I am so excited about fall coming. Already pull my fall quilts and fall cleaning my clothes and bringing them out and putting summer clothes away. Started making apple sauce and went apple picking. All about baking goods and putting my garden to rest soon. So looking forward to cooler temps here. Love your video.
