Same here-winter is dark, cold and depressing and although I love fall I can’t enjoy it because I know what’s behind it. UNTIL I found Desi. I'm a holistic educator and I have to tell you that I was so proud when you went barefoot outside and got sun first thing! It is so important and it is a real thing! Our bodies require natural sunlight for Vitamin D but also for proper hormone production. Cortisol starts producing right when we wake up so if the first light you see is your phone, your body is knocked off its course all day. Sunlight on the eyes helps to regulate hormone production in the right amounts and at the right times and the best time of day for it is right away in the morning before the sun gets too high. It encourages better mood, better sleep, and supports our cycles!
