Hello friends! 🎃
The mornings have become crisp and the leaves are starting to change. I've been fully embracing cozy season and really trying to enjoy every single day of fall this year. My mornings have become full of such special rituals and routines that I look forward to every day. I do want to preface that this is not what my mornings look like every day. This is my ideal morning on a weekend when I have extra time to slow down, focus on self care and really relish in this beautiful time of year. With that being said, I really hope you enjoy this morning routine video. It includes so many elements of fall that make me so happy. Pumpkin spice chai, cozy sweaters, reading autumnal books, apple cider pancakes (and a wall adorned with pumpkins!?? This is a thing here in New England and I love it! I never saw that in Utah). The dark gets to me as well, especially at the end of a workday. This year I am planning ahead with activities, theme weeks, baking projects and fun outings to fill my calendar. Maybe going to try light therapy too. Wishing health and happiness for you ❤

Same here-winter is dark, cold and depressing and although I love fall I can’t enjoy it because I know what’s behind it. UNTIL I found Desi. Your videos are a feast for the eyes! You take such care in every pretty detail. Like your little picnic with the apple pancakes. The blanket, plates, hand towels. All of it gorgeous autumn colors! I just love your videos! I have four kids and rarely do I ever have the luxury of having a slow, calm morning, but I take the little bits that I can enjoy. We live in Germany and it’s been crisp and cool at night for many weeks now. Parts of our summers feel like spring or fall, so we don’t have a huge change from summer to fall. But autumn is gorgeous here! We live in the Alps so there is some breathtaking fall leaf 🍁 peeping. Anyway, love your videos, Desi!
