Wow it looked so busy. The main beach is pretty! Good to know it's better to not go there on a long weekend. Great information!

Thanks! It was quite busy - but definitely worth a visit on a regular weekend or midweek.

Lately I’ve been thinking of buying cryptocurrency for retirement, I’ve set asides $350k to invest but along the line,I usually get cold feet, maybe because I have no idea what I’m doing, please I could really use some guidelines.

Thanks for watching!! What would you prefer if you were going camping... a long weekend visit, or a less popular time?
@caleboblak2 жыл бұрын
Cramping lol, both are good because you can get a sense of how busy or quiet it can be.

We're retired so while we like the quieter times, we also have the option of leaving weekends and the peak summer months for the families who don't have the options that we do. Win-win. So it's definitely shoulder seasons for us.

Yeah we are pretty predictable 🤣 we weren't fans of the park when it was that busy... too many people disrespecting the facilities and making a mess.

Interesting to get a glimpse of a camping area by the lake. I try to avoid busy times. That is a lot easier now we are retired. We must have passed by this site on our last trip to Canada as we made our way between Kingston & Toronto. Best wishes from the UK.

So crazy to hear the difference that timing makes. I would hate to be at a crowded dirty park because it kind of defeats the purpose of trying to get away from it all and enjoy nature. Glad you got to see it at it's best as well though!

I enjoy your videos and especially the park revues, being a new subscriber your channel was helpful getting the lay of the land for provincial parks. We are attending a three day family get together at Earl Rowe, so it was helpful, we reside in cottage country and going south to a park might sound strange. My motto is, if I don't like, pack up and go home.

Luckily there was a brewery nearby to wait out the time till Check in 🍻 Looks like a great campground, but can’t believe how filthy it is when it’s so busy on a long weekend 🙈

Saved by a brewery! Crazy the difference between your first visit and the long weekend, guess they’re understaffed at keeping up with the cleaning when it’s busy.

Yes that's what we though too about the staffing. Or just too many day users.

I think this park has the same issue as Sibbault Point, too close to the city and overrun on the weekend with day users and campers that don't have any respect for the parks.

I agree, the proximity and ease of access makes it a popular day use choice.
