Daniel and the guide also explained it last spring/summer when he took Westin and 3 of his friends down there for the same experience. DJ I am in love with your podcast. I could have been the one talking about my daughter. I have two children boy is the oldest, girl is 3 years younger. They are both in there 30’s now. I used to say I always loved them but when my daughter was a teenager I’m not sure I liked her!!! Yes I was working full time so in hindsight I do think I over compensated. The girls that worked for me always told me they wish I had been there mom. I look back now and can’t believe some of the things I let her do, but she tells me now that she is grateful because she knew I trusted her. You are doing a wonderful job.

One of my favorite compliments from another Mother was when her son worked at a Pet Store with my son. On nights that he worked over the Dinner hour, I always would take Dinner for my son & sometimes enough for a friend. She called me to not only Thank me for feeding her son, but also that they were ALL home cooked meals. Plus I worked outside the home, but cooked a Dinner every night. Where I am from, not many people actually cook home cooked meals. Except “old school” people like me. Most of the younger generation that I worked with, fed their kids frozen meals or fast food.
@teresamariner42382 жыл бұрын
I'm like you, well balanced, healthy, home cooked meals from scratch! That's the way I cooked for my son and my grabdson!!! Now my son has passed, my grandson in almost 17 living with his Mom, but I still cook from scratch for myself, no frozen stuff unless it's recreating from left overs.

Don't let those ignorant comments bother you. They are just showing they are miserable people and are not true fans. If they were fans or have even watched your channel they would know you are not forcing Houston to do anything he doesn't want to do and how enthusiastically Houston wants to and does the things he does. They would also know that the older children are not in the videos because they do not want to be in the videos and that you have many videos with the older children in them. They are simply trying to make someone else feel as miserable as them. Stupid people do and say stupid things.

I have been out of the loop a bit. I guess I need to go back and watch these Florida videos for sure, especially to comment if they haven't been turned off. Houton is such a confident, open, honest, inquisitive and inspiring soul it comes through in every video. How can anyone think even for a second much less long enough to write a comment think that Daniel who had the same and/or similar experiences as a young man is trying to live through Houston??? It is beyond me, as that kind of thing happens when a parent didn't have those life experiences, not someone who already had them, and there is no way Houston would be his precious little self if he was being pushed or forced as he would be unhappy!!!! Heck Houston even lets us know when he meets these guys and tells them how much he likes them that it was Houston's input that made the connection anyway. Y'all keep doin' you and ignore the negative!!! Much love and many blessings!!!!!!!!

WHAT'S WRONG W/PEOPLE?????? I don't understand people who will sit back & watch one of Ur Vlogs & then sit & pick U guys apart on every little thing... I just don't get it???? What's WRONG W/PEOPLE that they feel that they have the right to sit in JUDGEMENT of Ur lives? would they like it if we did the same thing to them & their lives? HELLO???? I personally feel that U all have done a GREAT JOB W/ALL of Ur kids & W/Ur lives... People R just so jealous of what U have & what U've worked hard to get to that they feel they have to lash out @ U for whatever reason, because by watching U guys & the love & joy that they see they see where they have FAILED so badly that they have to VOMIT their VILE HATRED out on U & Ur family.... Just ignore the HATERS, PLEASE don't let them get to U, it's simply not worth getting Urselves worked up about or over. If they R so petty that they have to whine & complain about BEAR not being in a Photo, then I say good riddance to bad rubbish..... They R just poor quality when they have to behave like toddlers when they R well up in their years ... It just boils my blood that they feel they can do this to U guys & that they have the right to do & say these kinds of things to U. It really just shows all of us who & what they really R & they R just shaming themselves....... I could go on 4-ever & they could come back & say where do U have the right to say what Ur saying? Well, when Ur standing up for what is right, that gives U the right. & they the HATERS are not standing up for what is right!
