Proud of you Houston! Learning the trials and tribulations of hunting! I shot a big buck one time and had it on video and you could see the impact of the bullet and we never found him! I was so upset we think he made it to the river and sunk before we could find him! Sometimes it don’t always go the way we want it, but there’s always a next time!! Hubs got a small doe and we mostly made sausage out of her...went down south to visit for last 4 days...nephew works on a game ranch and they get horn hunters...the meat is gifted back...we picked up two large deer( no idea if buck or doe) was skinned and quartered...brought back and shared some with a wonderful neighbor...more mean in the freezer!
