It's so embedded in our culture that we have TV serials and KZbin videos based on that drama. We also apparently need videos telling us how to treat women. Seriously? Women should have each others' back. The new generation of daughters-in-law should not take such rubbish, hopefully their in-laws are better. I was like that. Trying to make everyone happy, serving and taking care of everyone. In return I lost my career and myself. Just to realise that only my parents came to my rescue when I got unwell or pregnant 😔 Husband's will not always support you. I still wish them well. But if I can live those years again I will take care of Myself too and be bit more practical. The mother in law abuse is real. A lot of marriages in India are arranged. We can ask around for the partner's behavior and family to confirm if they r indeed clean as they show during marriage interview. But only after marriage do you see personality changes. Especially with the in-laws. These days women wish for independent living with husband to avoid situation like with this horrid in-law. But the society be saying we r separating the boy from his mother. Perhaps they should remember the woman literally leaves everyone from her birth home to become someone's wife. The man doesn't do that. The double standards r real 🙁 I have seen many of my frnds being abused verbally by their mother in law. I am not impressed with this storyline .. would have been better if the husband had the courage to shut his mother up for being so mean and rude. Women should not take abuse and it should be killed at its root, not in some weak indirect way. In this case, where is the guarantee that such women will not be the subject of torture behind their hubby's back?! Also, the young lady should speak up, not be quiet and take abuse, that is definitely not on. Totally meek female character does not portray well in the 21st century.

I talked only once when my husband is not there..i couldn't control and frustrated..now my understands me little less than before..this is happening what to do..if we talk back..how come our relationship changes..my attitude and character is the same know..i didn't change..why my husband changes...i controlled listening her taunts..how much i can bear...if we talk back..we become bad..what is this .. nothing changing even in this century also..karma..waste of studying and waste of my confidence which i built.. instead of studying and confidence ..we should talk back..y..we are talking to our parents..whats wrong in talking to our in laws..they can scold like there child.. I can't talk..karma only..when we will be getting rid of this stupid culture in this india don't understand..its sucks.. that's y i feel marrying a nri is nice.. without any family members..i realize now..i thought i don't want to leave my parents and go..but they now act as if i am there and makes me feel alone here ...by not supporting me saying culture,padhati and all..till studies i used not have..now i m unable to bear..no husband will shut his mouth..he will shut his wifes mouth..karma..this is the situation of our india

Sometimes its better to keep quiet... Coz arguing with someone never brings them to your views... Men do have the courage to shut their mom.. But they have been bounded by the moral values about mother's love.... That makes the man's life more miserable... Its his wife who can completely understand him... Giving up to an old lady never makes her a loser... Until she has her man with her... 😍😍

He shuts the door in the end and mom keeps cribbing behind it he has already given the wife courage to do what she wants ofcourse can't change the mom but imagine her inexistent when abusing.. ❤️ n the good part is it is about good hearted people so kudos dor not choosing the glamorous people playing people next door roles... good job team
