it's great to hear Darrel play and I salute all the young guys keeping the old sound alive and vital.

Having met Darrel on a number of occasions I can only say that his guitar playing is only matched by his modest demeanour. A thoroughly nice chap and my favourite guitar player bar none - oh, and a lucky bugger for being married to Imelda May! '50s Mick

Been playing 25 years. Been through TONS of gear. Peavey Delta Blues has been my #1 amp for the last 3 years! Great amp. & Made in USA! Other amp makers could learn a thing or two about quality control & reliability from Peavey. And my backup amp is a Bandit 112!!!! Keep making great amps, guys!

So sad to hear that Darrel and the lovely Imelda have split. Together they looked and sounded wonderful and will hopefully continue to work together in some capacity.. All the best to both of them.

+Wild Heart I was at a gig in Dublin a couple of months ago and noticed Darrel was not on stage with Imelda. My initial thought was have they split but I couldn't find anything at the to tell me one way or another. But you have brought it all down to earth. Thanks and I'm broken for them...

Great Amp ! I own it . You should also try it wit a 10" Celestion Gold plugged into the ext speaker jack . 15 W going to the 15" and the 10" . Sound unbelievably good . Pine ported cab.

I once heard Darrel Higham say in an interview that the Gretsch 6120, the guitar he happens to be playing in this video, was too small a guitar for him, though he adores the instrument. Man! Love that guitar. I haven't the money to get hold of an original like the one Darrel Higham is playing here - I'm pretty certain that it's original - but I'll settle for a contemporary model. As to Peavey amplifiers....well, they don't do a lot for me. So many other amplifiers I prefer to collect. But, I need to show more restraint in what I say because I'm simply not as familiar with the Peavey as I am with so many other companies that I could mention. What I mean to say is.....I mean no disrespect to Peavey Electronics. I have no doubt that they put out a good product. Darrel Higham I'm sure would agree with me that everything depends on what appeals to each guitar player. We all have different tastes.

What I mean is that it's a reissue of the Eddie's Cochran model, which has the Dynasonic in the bridge and a Gibson P90 on the neck, of course being played by Darrel.

I can't swear it but as long as I know about guitars, and about Darrel's gear, which I've read a lot, I'm almost sure that it's a reissue. Modern guitars can be quite impressive, as much as some vintage can be disapointing... Greetings bro.
