Many artists have sung this song but no one can perform it like the singer/songwriter who wrote it. You can feel the soul of Darrell Scott with every note. Incredible guitar player, songwriter and his voice is hauntingly powerful. I love all of his music (great variety) but this one goes straight to the heart & soul.❤💜💙🧡

I listened all the way through-the music and lyrics combine so powerfully, I had to give the songwriter his due. In the end, I missed the understated directness Patty brings to Scott’s fine song.
