First time I heard Darrell i was in Scotland he was on the BBC singing You'll Never leave Harlan alive, I was totally blown away. I had the honor to meet Darrell in east Tennessee at Jay Clark's place he and his wife are dang good folks.

I love that Darrell Scott's music is so completely rich: voice, lyric, style, skill, passion, honesty, spirit, wisdom. Its like whole food for the soul.

Darrell rarely plays a song the same way twice. The version of "River Take Me" at 39:55 is epic...Kenny Malone on top of his game and Darrell as good as you're ever gonna hear.... Thanks Hippy Jack for this one!

His adaptations are always so epic! Just started watching this one, and I'm waiting to hear his guitar again when his son comes home from the war in a box... Aw, wasn't on this one...but I thot it was his best when I'd heard it.

That Adam Mitchell song....damn Every time this man sings, I hear truth. Doesn't matter if it's his stuff or others. I'm so stuck on two of his cds, I'm just way in ignorance of his vast catalog. Wish everyone could hear that soulfully beautiful voice. God bless Darrell, his fam and friends.🌹🕊️

What a great concert... thanks for uploading! Love it and love Darell, too! That "old guy" on the drums, Kenny Malone, is terrific. Really sounds like horses clip-clopping or running for dear life through the songs... fabulous! I PS: I have to laugh because we are ALL "oldsters" now from this wonderful folk generation.

I've been a long time fan of Darrel's and Tim as well. Heard them last summer in Lacrosse WI. He does a respectable job on Dobro, but the basic barring with a little picking definitely makes me appreciate the true artistry of Jerry Douglas who takes the sound to another level. No offense Darrell, you're great and I know when playing solo it's nice to have a mix of songs, effects and styles. Please come to MN sometime.
