Southgate is getting all these wins because he is literally managing the second best team in Europe behind France and facing low ranking nations constantly. What quality teams have we ever faced in qualifiers? It's like me managing Man City and having a 85 percent win rate facing L1 and L2 sides every week and then people calling me an amazing manager. a successful club doesn't always measured by trophies.. I think what Ten Hag has done at Man Utd is almost impossible.. he had to perform under weird conditions.. the club doesn't buy players he wanted.. he said it himself, Man Utd can't play Ajax style.. but thanks to Ten Hag's football knowldege, he knows how to make Rashford score lots of goals last season and this season even when Rashford isn't in good form, he still able to make Man Utd compete in FA Cup and UCL qualification through the league.. Arteta also better than Southgate.. even De Zerbi is better than Southgate because he's able to raise Brighton's stature in Europe..

Arteta has won FA Cup and stands a better chance to win the Premier League. Manchester United has changed many managers and they're still struggling. They have brought in the most expensive players and nothing happens. That should tell you that the problem is neither the managers nor the players but the culture of the club. Southgate will be gone before Christmas if United hires him. Why do people keep on bringing Klopp in every discussion as if he has dominated English and European football since he came to Liverpool. Ten Hag has been dealt a bad hand at Man Utd. Greenwood issue Sancho was awful and injuries within a team. Team needed restructuring altogether. Ronaldo should never of comeback he had to deal with that situation when clearly he wasn't good enough. Harry Maguire is criticized all the time but Ten Hag didn't sign him. You cannot compare club and international play for both players and managers. This is the same illogical argument people made for years with Maguire. People kept saying he was great for England for years to try and continue justifying him playing and starting for United. They are two completely different playing environments. It’s like justifying an EPL player or manager being great when they are constantly playing and coaching against League 1 opposition instead of EPL opponents. Agreed. Look how good Scolari was as an international team manager but didn't last one full season at Chelsea. Not managed another major European club in his career. "Never lost a qualifier" when most of the groups are Malta and the like is hardly an indicator. Look at the competitive games when he's against teams of similar or better ability.....always a loss.
