Agree with Benty. 4 in a row is seriously impressive. A treble could be a good season then drift away again. Consistency is key.

4 in a row in most cases just means no competition,, a Treble is more relevant because of the Champions league.. a Competition that Teams could go 50 years just winning two and still dominating their Domestic Leagues that's how difficult it is to win it.

4 in a row and a treble is not mutually exclusive. Its more likely that a team that can win 4 in a row would be able to win the treble every season so I agree the consistency is the harder achievement

@@MrBrasserie I'm talking about the premier League mate (and the first division, and football league that preceded it, going back to the late 1800s ) .... NO club here in England has EVER managed to win FOUR titles running in top flight football, even though historically there have been some of the greatest teams, and greatest managers on the planet about. There have been a select few clubs who have won THREE titles running over the years though ..... Bayern may have won ten or eleven titles running in Germany, but they have hardly had consistent quality competition for the title from other German clubs .... even though the likes of Leverkusen, Dortmund and Wolfsburg may have happened to spring the odd shock title win every now and again.

4 in a row while holding off elite competition like Liverpool and Arsenal is special!! Arsenal have been phenomenal all season. Liverpool under Klopp have been machines the last few seasons as well! I think only players who've won the Champions league or played in it should answer this cause i think as a Player I'd rather in 5 years win one UCL than 4 Domestic League Titles... just think about it, Man UTD dominated England for decades yet they only have three UCL Titles... unless you're Real Madrid the Champions league is the hardest Trophy to win and it's just far more prestigious that's why Di Mateo won it despite Chelsea performing really badly in the League, the players play to win it they motivate themselves the Manager doesn't need to say much cause the players really value it.

How is that a debate? The "treble" is nothing but a marketing tool. And in England, the treble only means that a team won 3 out of a possible 4 trophies. Domestically, winning multiple league titles is what makes a team legendary. A treble is just the cherry on top.
