I wasn’t born in the UK moved here when I was a kid, I saw video back in 2013 I think online, some pastor from USA saying muslim area in bham don’t allow anyone else to enter, I hadn’t been there then, I ask this guy at uni who is from bham, born and bred there, he said there are areas where if u go as an English person you might get attacked but at the same time there are areas where you could go as a brown person and would get attacked. We were driving back from Wales during the world cup in 2014. We stopped in bham to eat at this place. All the lads there were of Pakistani origin. i think England and Italy were playing. Italy scored and then England levelled. I have never been interested in football coz I grew up playing and watching cricket in Pakistan. The way those lads and 2 of my friends (all of em most likely born and bred in the UK) celebrated when England scored to level, it warmed my heart. I felt genuinely happy honestly. I didn’t even know why. And I wish people who follow this tommy robinson or his stooges could see that. I wish they were there. my kids grew up here. This is the only home they know. When my 5 year old plays football on the wkends with other kids (90% of them are English, same age), I watch them and u realise how innocent kids are. Yes they get worked up or go over the top tackling each other but they are….just playin football. It doesn’t matter to em if the other kid infront of em is brown or white or purple or whatever. These ugly feelings that tommy robinson tries to instigate, they r taught. Sometimes it might be the media coz hate and fear sell more than anything. It could be the circumstances of a person or their own family.

I’ve lived in Salford almost my entire life and a walk away from the city centre. Cheetham hill and Rusholme are massively Islamic leaning. There are some areas near Blackley that is pretty much entirely Jewish. Never heard of a “no go” zone. The amount of knife crime and robberies on Salford precinct alone is a joke, and that’s a mixed area. Failed society as a whole. Police station right next to the shopping centre aswell and there’s 0 deterrent. Useless. Glad I’ve moved to the country with the family.
