Yes he has said that, but at the same time listen to other interviews where he praises their music. He says all the time that he is still a huge fan of Savage Garden's music so When he says no he is probably just saying no to getting back with Daniel and performing, but it has nothing to do with the music. Obviously him and Daniel aren't buddy buddy anymore and that's why the strong "NO" happens. He would never abandon their music and he has every right to still perform the songs.

lol this is not auto-tune. darren is electronically distorting his voice for a different effect, not correcting pitch to cover up bad vocals (which darren doesn't have).

Which in EVERY video you will find of him performing live you will hear him using his REAL voice. This version is disappointing, yes, but Darren HAS a real voice...unlike a lot of artists now who use autotune on everything they do.

Pretty cool idea to mix the song differently. However, he sings almost the whole verse in 1 pitch, while normally the melody goes hand in hand with the different chords. It makes it a little bit boring to listen to 1 tone the whole in the verse

@Andrewe1 Just because Savage Garden ended doesn't mean Darren should be denied the songs he WROTE and performed. I'd personally be really sad if he just abandoned all SG songs! However...this version of I want you is AWFUL. Go listen to other live performances of Darren singing SG songs. SO..MUCH...BETTER than this. I hate auto-tune.

Meh, still....... I don't like his attitude. He probably wanted to hook up with Daniel and he didn't allow it and maybe thats why he is so pissed off at him lol. If he is gonna play SG songs then the least he can do is not butcher them. Some recent performances are "Decent", not anything above that. But this....this is just a disgrace to the original song.
