He's been one of my favorites for 23 years. I own a ridiculous amount of imports of Savage Garden CDs and Darren Hayes CDs. Not to mention the purple vinyl of secret codes and battleships. This is one of my favorite live performances of his. I would have loved to have been in the audience. You can tell he was singing it to Delta. Bet she had goosebumps and tears. Thank you Darren. So underrated and for some reason left out of mainstream discussions on greatest male vocalists. Not to mention his amazing songwriting talent. His lyrics and emotions go deeper than pretty much any popular music coming out these days. Hopefully we'll get his One Man Show and a new album in the near future. I love you Darren Hayes!!! Doesn't anyone feel the void....

There was another video of Darren's live cover at ARIA 2003 with a bit longer video, where you could see Delta's reaction in the audience, when camera turned to her and recorded her standing ovation while whipping away the tears of joy, very emotional...
