It is almost funny how Darren gets severely depressed every time Mandy has some DIY for him to do. However it is odd Mandy is so self-obsessed see doesn`t see the alarming warning signs coming from Darren. He is a severe suicide risk. Telling Mandy the kids will be alright cause they got her, and that she can handle anything life throws at her, are major warning signs Darren is contemplating ending his life.

The way they are doing this storyline is so amazing. I have had and still struggle with depression and the fact that nothing overly triggered his depression and that even though noting major is happening in his day to day life depression can and does still effect him which it does to many people.

I lost my brother to suicide only 2 years ago, it feels just like yesterday, watching this is so hard. He had got back off holiday only a few days before, ‘seemed’ happy and yet the reality was he wasn’t okay and he couldn’t take this life anymore 💔

I have been feeling depressed for a few months now. Many times i thought about killing myself by overdose. I saw my mums medicine and i was gonna do it but i froze. I want to believe things will get better, im doing myself no favours by keeping it all in. Autistic people like me struggle to live a normal life.
