If you don’t get this song and understand where it came from and why to sing it…. Then I don’t know wtf team your supporting. It’s not my type of music. But it’s organic, made by a local lad who is a gooner through and through. If you go to games and you hear this sung you know what it has become for our club. If you are a gooner who doesn’t like this. Give your head a wobble ffs

@@lostintheburgersauce Wouldn't be funny if it wasn't so "ridicolous" mate that's the reason I commented. Imagine scousers being divided or forest fans or even them low down mancs? Wouldn't happen but arsenal and their fan base are a massive joke full of tourists and folks who never been near a jellied eel let alone Highbury The best thing about arsenal was Highbury and even that's gone. Haha you couldn't script it pal. Enjo your day fella x
@lostintheburgersauce2 ай бұрын
@@fargodavilleitnotd6729 you make a fair point but we just recently started singing this song. Comparing to Forests/Liverpool fans doesn't make sense. if this song was to stay for the same period of time they've had theirs, I imagine everyone will be on board. Change doesn't happen overnight and some will be opposed to it ofc, so to attack Arsenal fans for that is a bit unfair. Yes the best thing for Arsenal was Highbury but we've now put ourselves in a position for the future with the move to the Emirates to stay with the times, if we didn't move, there would be less money/influence coming our way. The jellied eel thing I won't even entertain. The tourist thing is true, but again, becoming popular globally you can't hate it as it's a business after all. You too pal. Have a good one,
@fargodavilleitnotd67292 ай бұрын
@@lostintheburgersauce I didn't read all.of that mate not saying it so you entertain it. The comparison is based on historic successful football.clubs which arsenal happen to be a part of. Nothing more nothing less. When I say they've never been near a jellied eel it's not meant figuratively it's more tongue in cheek. I lived in South East London for 12yrs and were surrounded by diks who've never been near the ground crying every half hour online like it's their club I'd like to see arsenal won the title over then plaggy City fans but only just. Your fan base is a joke mate big time embarrassment and this song just furthers put that embarrassment on the spotlight especially when one half of the fan base feels like a proper fan because they know the words and the other half of the fan base are the poor bastards that have given up their time and money following the arsenal forever. I'm almost sorry forest bailed your team out early days ;) That too is tongue in cheek by the way.
