I used to watch TV tournaments where 20 pound balls were used in the late 1960's. Great job with this dangerous weight bowling ball. Thanks for the video .

@@220avg Yes, on ABC Wide World of Sports TV program of late 1960's. Those bowling balls were four dot type made of black hard rubber coating and cork inside with steel block. The lane surface was different and the style of throwing was lower due to the difficult handling of such bowling balls. Older bowlers who mastered such difficult balls could find easier to bowl on today's lanes using modern reactive balls. An old pro shop technician had an old four dot black rubber coated ball on exhibit only. Those old balls are banned for today's lanes. These old balls tend to slip and bounce and cause hand injuries on bowlers.

Bruh, Daren 2 hand is god damn awesome. I wish the guy would transition already and 220 VB your style is more upper body than lower body like Kyle troope so it's 1 handed bowling but with 2 Main difference with 2 handed 1 hand bowler vs true 2 handed bowler is the hop/skip slide. I'm still trying to get it right myself. Trying to generate speed with my legs rather than muscle-ing it

If ever in New England, try the complete opposite. In my game,candlepin bowling, the ball is only 2.6 lbs. Also the slender pins,are about the same weight. That's one of many factors of not having a perfect 300 game in candlepin yet.

I think next on the list is a 16 kg ball, you know the classic oops I missed a units conversion error ball. But I mean realistically, that's a real heavy ball for safety reasons a 12-14 kg ball may be more appropriate but even still a 26.5 lb (12kg) ball is still something you probably should be careful with.
