Was about to say that. 2.7k at 60 fps would fix choppy dirty quality. Will wait till December end or Jan if no update then I will buy dji mini 4k way more better quality

The sharpness is the #1 problem to address. #2 is exposure control in Oder to adjust down to -0.3 by default. Then it’s perfect!

Definitely a great update! Thanks for the video. Obviously the larger view of the camera feed is great, but even better for me is just how much easier it is to manually control it from the phone now that the virtual controls are spaced apart more. Like others are saying, a few more options for manual camera control are pretty much all I want from the app now. The only other thing I can think of would be an option to control the camera tilt using your phone's accelerometer. It's currently pretty fiddly to control the tilt from the phone app if you're using manual controls, but I feel like copying the head tracking of the goggles and letting you tilt the phone to tilt the camera would be perfect!

Greedy decision from dji to not include sharpness and NR with the phone or no command, to force people to buy the remote. At least make the setting permanent for those who own the remote

In their defense, that can be done through video editing on a pc. It’s a $200 drone from a reputable drone company. No other drone at this price point is being matched. This is a good update, let’s be patient and keep asking DJI for video enhancement on mobile. I’m glad we finally got vertical video, wish it was 4K though.

Changing settings with the connected rc controller does not apply the same settings to palm/mobile controls while this is how people use Neo most often. Owning Neo with the controller I still find the sharpness settings missing. Simply because going out I almost never carry a controller with me.

I have both the Neo and the Hover x1 and what I would say is it’s definitely worth paying a bit more for the HoverAir x1 Pro Max. The Neo camera is not great, over-sharpened to solve the lack of camera quality.

They should add a TON of image adjustments even without a remote: - sharpness - color profile (flat, natural, saturation) - noise reduction (off, low, high) - brightness measurement (frame, center weighted, spot) The image quality in daylight is pretty decent! But as soon as the light is less good, the quality sinks massively! For a 1/2” sensor, it’s much worse than the one from my Mavic Air (1/2.3”), because it increases iso to compensate the 1 axis gimbal. They should’ve just added a better sensor and lenses, it would at 10€ to the price but people would be much pleased. I hope the add these software settings and can improve image quality via firmware, it’s much needed

Next year, there is no standard release timeframe, Mini 3 pro came out in May 2022, Mini 4 pro came in September 2023, Mini 5 may not arrive till March at the earliest but there is nothing but rumours so no dates or leaks yet

I’m boycotting dji as much as I love all their products. I have every osmo pocket ,three drones and an action cam. I won’t be buying anymore as there is no reason this drone needs such a sharp default and it’s obviously orientated to pressurise the consumer to buy more. I’ll be buying hover air as I’m not being press ganged …no way hosie .
