@@DMProductions I would say it comes down to budget Darren. But I would still get a DJI, you know what you have when you buy the DJI. I started off with the Phantom 3, the big white one, then the Mavic Pro, then the Mini 2, 3, 4,pro. I have always gone with what you recommend Darren and you have never been wrong. Got me into trouble a few times with the wife, but if I say Darren says, it’s ok. I’ve even tried Darren says the electric bike with the chunky tyres is great. I just got the look 👀 on that one.

It depends, but Mini 4 Pro if you want Jack Of All Trades. NEO if you cannot tell difference between 720p and 1080p or if you have trouble with hearings.

Got my many 4K on sale for $249. Been flying for about a week now and honestly I don't see any reason to upgrade. You can call this an entry level drone all you want but I can go over 6 miles away with 31 minute flight time and it has an excellent 4K camera I really don't need anything else.

DJI Mini 3 Pro from official refurbished I think is the best beginners drone as it is the cheapest to have access to D-Log footage, portrait video as well as obstacle avoidance sensors

I went for Neo. It’s a cheap entry level drone for FPV. Great to practice with. If I’m crashing it, isn’t ~ $500 that crashes like Avata 2. When I’m ready for Avata 2 I’ll upgrade. Thanks for the advice though

after wasting a lot of money on the midrange amazon drones (you,ll know the brand i mean ) i finally picked up a mini 2se in currys and it completeley changed things for me i have just bought a neo and for what i need its awesome. It,s like your own personal little camera person . Can i recomend you dont do what i did by getting the initial drone and buying all the extras seperateley go straight for the fly more package and save yourself lots (love the channel by the way )

I bought the neo because I was bored with cinematic flying, as once you video all the nice places in your area then what? The n3 goggles and controller I can reuse when I buy the Avata 2, so it's not a wasted expense. I'll be flying this far more than my mavic that's for sure.

Just got a Mini4k at the DJI black Friday sale. Your video is spot on. As a beginner I didnt want to splash out $1k for the 4pro. The neo also apparently has issues flying over water which was another reason I didnt get it.

You will have both optical tracking and GPS follow-me with Maven, Litchi, or Dronelink. But the DJI Mini 4k is not compatible with those apps, yet.

I have the Neo and love it for what it offers however I went with the 4K pro as my go too video drone due to it advanced features and compatibility with my RC 2 controller, something the 4k mini does not support.. The phone option required me to remove my protective case whenever I needed too use it with the included drones controller and that would not do...

The DJI mini 4K does not have follow me capabilities but is able to take programmed single spot flight path videos of a specific spot that you can set on the ground or building, the mini 4 pro has follow me capabilities as it has the 360 sensors on it

Hey. Happened upon this video tonight. Just watched it. Thing that caught my attention was you mentioned you go for a jog with this in a bag. Is this true? If so, ever damaged the drone? I asked DJI if this was possible/advisable and they said no. I trail run and am looking for small portable good quality drone to carry with me and send up for shots occasionally. Thanks

I have the Mini 4K. Should not really put it in a bag like he did. The gimbal can be protected by the gimbal-guard, but there is good chance you might damage the propellers.

i have mini 4 pro and neo and i use the neo most of the time. if you're a beginner, I'll recommend the neo and save your money. 2:40 fpv can also be argued on mini 4 pro since it also supports fpv.

I’ve been flying drones for about 8 years or so and have inspire, mavic 2 pro, mavic3 pro and mini 4 pro and by far my most used drone , my go to drone is the cheapest of the lot … the ‘beginner’ drone MINI4 pro … with a fly more kit this thing is amazing and punches way above its weight
