This is a recording from the Schwabacher Summer Concert at the Merola Summer Opera Programme, July 18th, 2013.
Here is the final scene of Edgardo, from Tombe degli avi through to the end of the opera. With a suprisingly high ending :)

Holy God in Heaven! His voice is just so beautiful to listen to and the power and stability of the voice... The vibrato... I ADORE him... And that high D was genius! So powerful and assertive... I now only want to hear this finale with the high D!!

Ernesto , me refiero a que algo se que ha hecho en san francisco ,en los angeles, en burdeos ,etc.. pero (en mi opinion y he oido mucho) ,por afinacion ,color igual en todo el registro, pasaje perfecto, emision facil , diria que es el mejor lirico ligero del momento. Lo mas parecido a luciano pavarotti .Por alguna razon no esta extendido suficientemente. Me gustaria conocer opiniones

Del Bel Canto sé poco, parece que tú si sabes bastante; en realidad he conocido a Pati recientemente pero como ponente del trio SOL3MIO y quedé fascinado por sus voces en canciones como Stella o songbird y otras, pero también, para mi gusto ( que no entender ), en el Bel Canto me entusiasman : Pene cantando con su esposa Amina, o Amitai o Moses, como te digo, para mí, son geniales. No puedo opinar sobre el lugar que debieran ocupar, por sus cualidades o virtuosismo, el elenco actual internacional del Bel Canto. Vuelvo a decirte, me gustan y los aplaudo eso es todo. Thanks. I would have thought that Donizetti would have ended it with a high D, but then again, if a man is dying, how could he just end an aria on such an epic note?

Great stuff, although IMHO the high D is quite unnecessary unless you're trying to show off, which as a young artist might actually be necessary. I never like to hear it at any production of Lucia, though. However, I would love to hear the high C# in the oppure. That one was actually written, and it's a great opportunity to show off as well
