I disagree. Some of the other professional channels are very consistent about showing shots / scores every game + total score at the end and overall placing. I feel like this channel is very lazy about all that and tends to leave the viewers in the dark.

Man, I feel you. This league video closely mirrored how my previous league night went, prior to the release of this video. I had some stuff going on, in life, that took a negative toll on my concentration. That lack of concentration reflected in my scores, dropping 2 pins from my average in a single night. Those issues are now resolved and I'm ready for league night, this week. Bring it on! I've got some ground to regain.

Great content as always! I wanted to thank you for the advice from the last league video. As it pertains to doing everything the same when going for a 300. I was on a run last Friday and I drank the same amount of sips from my drink, stood the same way, and had the same conversations, and sure enough, I shot 300. That tip helped sooooo much. Thank you! He would tell me always be prepared to be the best no matter the environment no matter the situation. Hey Darren, I have 2 tips for you. Neither of them I think you'll like, BUT I hope you can implement them into a league night vid. First, increase axis tilt 2 handed: put your thumb in the ball. Use a one handed ball, but with 2 hands (like Wesley Low Jr.). Second tip - Increase rev rate: use a 14lb ball.

Darren i literally bowl exactly like you. I start off on the right side with two hands then I go to only using one hand if it starts to get dry. I know another style that you could absolutely use in these situations where you're struggling. Especially for those irritating 10 pins

@@ripvanrevs Im getting back into it after a 20 year hiatus. When I popped my shoulder i was a 195-200+ avg depending on which House I was at. I had surgery and was affraid of coming back. Brother in law talked me into returning. Im having fun in a senior league. Things are clicking and im picking up my avg about 10 pins every week. This 201 was the 1st one Ive had in 20 years :D.

Back in the '70s when I was a bowler, I had a game where everything I threw went Brooklyn, couldn't get it on the right side. Wasn't all bad: I had the first 9! I was bound and determined to get proper pocket in the tenth...you can see how this one goes. Yep, big 4, 264 game. Moral: if it ain't broke, don't mess with success.

I know and feel your pain Darren last night in my league I wound up using every ball in my arsenal during all 3 games, take note I only have 3 in my arsenal, 4 if you count my WD Patriot plastic spare ball I use for 7 pins (Yes, I'm a lefty). Opened with a 201 not bad considering all the pocket splits I had in that game, so I was humbly satisfied with that game kind of. Game 2 was the exact same story as game one lots of pocket splits for a duplicate 201. Game 3 just fell apart a lot more pocket splits for a humbling and miserable 160 game for a meager 562 series. Was smashing the pocket all night and just couldn't carry on top of that none of my balls looked good or shaped well down the lanes even my strikes looked bad LOL. Made all the adjustments only to have my balls do what seemed like the opposite of what they were supposed to do LOL. Meanwhile the other team was on one of those nights where everything they threw was a strike, they didn't even need to hit the head pin to strike just put the ball anywhere and POW STRIKE LOL. We got waxed none of the games were even close, their 2 worst bowlers on the team both threw 30 to 40 pins over average if not more I didn't do the math LOL each game, their worst bowler who has a 132 average threw a 675 series and the other one who has a 138 average threw a 672 series. They beat our entire team with handicap by themselves scratch all 3 games, their handicaps just made it worst and their other two bowlers were just added bonus pins to their total LOL. Oh, in case you're wondering it's a mixed league with 4 members on each team, each team can carry a max of 6 players but only 4 can bowl at a time. The right ball at the right time makes all the difference. I have no problem getting all of my balls to the pocket, but sometimes, it's just finding the right one to go through the pins properly. For me, it's a difference between rolling a 213 and a 256 game.

This looks like every Friday league night at Tri City (or Tri Shitty as I call it) in SC. Throw good balls, get railed. Bowling is fun they said though. At least now I understand why alcohol is involved for some. It is to make one think it is fun in the moment. On a positive note, it is nice to see a professional say they aren't having fun.
