As much as the pausing can be... a little bit annoying, it can end up being worse if someone actually misses an important detail because they were talking over the music. And then if you're trying to avoid talking over the song *or* pausing to talk, you end up barely commentating and the concept of a reaction video becomes moot. He might as well just keep doing what he's doing, because there's no approach to this format where you'll please everyone.
