The thing with catfish is they only taste good when their small, once they get larger the taste is unbearably bad because their diet mostly consists of rotting corpses and things covered in swamp mud, calling it natures trash compacter is completely accurate, it’s essentially the fish version of a pelican, it will eat anything that isn’t bolted to the ground and even then it will still try

And people ask me why I won't swim anything but a pool, this is why. The fish don't want me to be there, and I don't want to be there.

Highly depends on the region though. On the Baltic Coast, the worst thing that could happen to you is kelp, seagulls, and a bloom of non-stinging translucent jellyfish.

Ever since i heard about that Catfish that ate a Dachshund, i was hella suspicious of every lake i passed.

If you live in north America there is no catfish to really fear in terms of being able to eat you

@@anyathepanther7977 oh. I mean to be fair most catfish wouldn't mess with a human, but it is good to be safe. A large one could definitely grab your arm or something

Jeremy wade did a river monster episode about the goliath tiger fish and he was told a story about a fisherman found dead after one jumped out of the water and grabbed his throat

As a lover of sea life and horrifying animals, this was one of my favorites of Casual's. Usually, it takes me a week or so to rewatch one of his vid's; this was the first I rewatched only a day afterward I know Darrnell's reaction bouta be HEAT

You were actually close to the actor's name. It's Seann William Scott, who played Stifler in the American Pie movies.

One time on vacation my dad told me of a lady that got stung or bitten by a fish and was paralyzed in a lake. And then my thallasophobia started. Mind you we were by a lake

We watched the movie piranha 3dd (yes, "3dd") in dvd when it came out. After that my aunt stopped buying/eating tilapia for almost a week but for me I see them as just fancified tilapias (and probably more tasty in lore) and I cannot take that off my head, nor will I ever do

Those squids are the bloods of the sea and their flashing is their gang signs and they are the aquatic crashouts of the ocean
