Bit of a late entry here, but thanks for this! I had a permanent set up in my spare room for almost 2 years but now have to move it and I've been looking for a different solution and this is that solution! Thanks for the review!

Great review, mate. :) Couldn't agree more too, I've had mine for about 7months now and still can't believe it only cost me 50, some are nearly 200. 😂Love your helpful content and vibe mate, keep it going. Good luck with fatherhood too! Best thing ever. 👍😉

@@DartsClass what is it like for board rotation? I was going to drill a piece of wood to it and attach a dartboard fitting to the the wood to make it easy to rotate and change the board.
@DartsClass4 жыл бұрын
It's fine for rotation, very easy, but that is because it moves around easily and that can be annoying when just playing as you may knock it and have to restraighten often

@@DartsClass I think I will take the plunge. I am a little bit faster than Michael Smith when I throw so I hope the wobble isn't too much. I actually have a Unicorn on Tour and it's not too bad to be honest. I have one on the wall in a dedicated darts room but I find myself using the strap a lot.
@paulmcguffog77024 жыл бұрын
Congratulations on 1k subs Bryn. I also use one of these. The best thing I did was was put a piece of wood in between the stand bracket and the dartboard. Then connect a rotating bracket to the wood to hang your dartboard on. Make rotating your board miles easier. Good stand though highly recommended.
@DartsClass4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul. Agreed, it's far from perfect, but a few little tricks like that make it do the job well enough for the price 👍🎯

A sand bag, or even a bag of rice, or dumb bells should reduce/eliminate the wobble/shake of the stand.

Would this work with the blade 6? Had neighbours complain about my wall mounted board so it’s probably the only way I can keep playing
@DartsClass3 жыл бұрын
Yeah it works for any board. 100% the only solution I've found when the neighbours complain. Any other sound proofing of a wall mounted board might help, but will never eradicate the reverberation through the walls to the neighbours. I use this stand more than ever now in the house

Is this for any dartboard, or specific ones to attach to it? I have one that requires drilling into a wall but I'm not allowed to do that, so I have 4 holes in the back of my dartboard, so was wondering if a stand will accomodate it. Thanks!

Evening mate, you've said you've put a Nail Polish mark on the Stand but then count up to the third hole? Should I place a mark or just use the 3rd hole? 👍
@DartsClass4 жыл бұрын
The third hole is quite close to the correct height, but with the legs at full width it drops the board below by about 2 or 3 inches, therefore you need to heighten the bottom fastener by a couple of inches to narrow the base, which in turn will get the board to the correct height. 👍🎯

@perryjg9260 Жыл бұрын
@@fynixx8158 not yet. But I got the bully darts stand and that's simple enough. Unscrew a little, twist and tighten again. Consider the Bully Darts stand and the KOTO darts stand, that one has a traditional wall bracket method of hanging the dartboard, but on a portable stand.

Hi, i want to quieten the noise down of the banging of the darts through the wall, my board is up on the wall and you can hear the noise. With the dartboard up on the wall does that reduce the noise?
@DartsClass3 жыл бұрын
The only realistic way of stopping the noise is a stand. Some people mount their boards on foam / carpet on the wall which helps a bit, but the noise is mainly down to reverberation, and as long as the board is mounted to the wall, neighbours, family members etc will still hear it. 😕

These stands are a POS. I had the exact same stand and it was utter junk. When you pulled the darts out the board tilted so you could be stood straight on, but the boards at an angle so your darts go in at an angle. B&Q, £35 in timber and a box of 100mm screws, and a few door hinges and I now have the sturdiest board possible with a built in foldaway raised oche.
@DartsClass4 жыл бұрын
If you follow the video Gorilla advise it does show how to tighten to stop the board tilting forwards, unless that was a previous model that had the defect that needed them to change something. They aren't fool proof but I see a lot of people comment about the forward tilt but mine doesn't at all 🤷♂️
@benwilkinson52774 жыл бұрын
@@DartsClass left and right tilt mate. I would set it up square to the oche, but after 30 mins of playing the board had a severe tilt to one side. Usually the left side was closer and the right side further away because of the amount of times I go for D16. Removing the darts from either side of the board resulted in it not being square to the oche.

@@benwilkinson5277 ah I get you. Yeah I noticed a bit of that to be fair, keeping it dead straight facing the Oche is a ball ache
