Vader knows ochi is with crimson dawn. The sith is taught to use people for whatever and the emperor knew Vader was not gone touch him. Great comic I wish it was longer

You can see how Vader is acting on his previous thoughts from his youth that corruption should be exterminated by any means. This to me shows that there is more of Anakin in Vader than you would think. Overall this series has built more and more towards Vaders return to his old self.

See, I wonder if Sabe will survive. And if she does, will she ever meet Luke and/or Leia? She knows of Luke now and that he at least is the son of Padme. I don’t know. I know in the Poe Dameron comics way down the line, Leia is in possession of Padme’s old gowns after they had been previously stored on Naboo for years. I wonder if Sabe is a part of why Leia comes into possession of her mother’s wardrobe. Of course, this is assuming Sabe survives, meets Padme’s twins, and we don’t know when Leia came into possession of Padme’s gowns between ROTJ and the Poe Dameron comics. However, not many people knew the truth of Leia’s parentage: she kept it secret amongst only herself, Luke, and Han until 28 ABY when it was revealed in order to smear her campaign for First Senator. However, sometime after the Return of the Jedi, Leia learns her mother was Padme Amidala and comes into possession of her old gowns and probably some other things as well that we don’t know about. I could see Sabe being the one to give Leia her mother’s gowns while keeping the parentage secret. Of course, this is assuming Sabe meets them if she survives, and that Leia learns who her mother is while Sabe is still alive. If Sabe does die, and she realizes Vader is Anakin, it would be very poetic for her to die at his hands, uttering the words “There’s still good in him” while Vader is terrorized by flashbacks of choking Padme and Sidious telling him that in his anger, he killed her. Killing Sabe probably would bring Vader only more pain that letting her live.

Vader spared her and the other handmaids because he did not want to kill them. If she dies it will not be by Vaders hand.

@@erikpersson2365 Time will only tell. We had Dark Horse comics during the Prequal movies and now an alternat time line with Disney. Once Disney is done with this run leading up to Return of the Jedi, then we have the Mandolarian series. I am just waiting for them to start putting out some Star Wars Infinities comic series of What IF ? What if, Leia was raised by the Lars and Leia face off against Vader in Empire Strikes Back in Cloud City. In real life dealing with military or corporate world people work 70 + hours a week more or less abandon their child to boarding schools and summer camps. If Vader found out about Luke would he do anything ? How best to protect your child from political enemies ? Let them live a simple life you never had ? Would Leia turn out like Mara Jade ? Sorry I missed your birthday again cause I was burning down a city hiding religious fanatics which were trafficking opium.
