Great episode! exited to see more legion on the channel, but something I noticed: unless otherwise specified, keywords apply to all dice in an attack pool, so with rocket launcher fire for example, regular blasters can benefit from the impact. also, while it didn't matter this time, low profile has had it's rules changed, so checking FAQs would help. Edit: looked at the rules and noticed the repulsor moves were done correctly.

If im not mistaken its the entire attack pool that gains a keyword when you add a weapon with for example velocity

I think high velocity specifies that you only get high velocity if every weapon in the attack pool has it

About rules, in just a pair of attacks I think you applied impact first and then cover, but cover is applied before rules that modify dice results. That aside, this report felt so smooth, and I like the use of proxies for more narrative feels instead of being enclosed to just what exists right now.

22:30 I don't know if y'all know this, but force choke allows you to single out the individual non-leader trooper model you assign the wound to, rather than simply giving the entire unit 1 wound. So you could have chosen the Z-6 trooper to remove from the field.

Rules problems... You cannot give out surges from Aggressive Tactics with HQ Uplink, because the unit was not given an order from the command card, and Luke (Ahsoka) gave out the order, so Leia (Hera) is not allowed to use aggressive tactics, because they were not given from her card

Nick seems like the best opponent ever! He doesn't get mad about losing units or get salty when the dice don't go his way. He is just there for a good thematic battle and a good game. We should all be more like Nick when playing :)

Would love to see more legion on your channel Don't know if you'll read this for a 2 month old video, but a few things I noticed that you weren't doing quite right. First of all, DLT is 2 red but you rolled 2 black some of the times Don't need to roll dice by weapon, roll all the weapons that are going into the same target together Death troopers do not have tactical Suppression increases no cover to light, and light to heavy Aggressive tactics only works if that commander was issuing the orders, i.e. it wouldnt trigger from leia if you play a luke card Those 'surge' tokens were actually standby tokens, surge are the small square green ones. You may not have any if you only have the early civil war releases. You had the premise for how they worked right though Luke is courage 3 and wouldn't lose an action with only 2 suppression Not sure why you'd saber throw when you could just move into melee and swing? Force choke lets the user pick which dies, you can kill off the heavy weapon As the editor noted at the start, picking up the objective costs an action The rule for both low profile and transport have changed Barricades are usually difficult terrain and so lower your movement If you recover to get a weapon back you can immediately fire it again, and if you don't want to the weapon model can use the standard blaster instead Vehicle movement seemed off, you place a movement tool up to your move value into a notch and move along that line, stopping at any point. If its a compulsory move as per the one from speeder you have to complete the whole move. You can't pivot any more than the tool would allow and if you compulsory move into something impassable like a wall you take damage Rebel ion trooper is exhaust and needs to be reloaded Move, take cover and attack are all actions and leia would only get 2 not 3 of these Didn't come up, but you can't kill hidden minis. Excess damage is just lost

Think there’s some missing rules like sharpshooter on snipers, and how aims work. You reroll 2 dice and add 1 more reroll per precise. I may have missed it but seemed like those were done wrong but it’s a fun video and great to see legion love

Rebels lean heavily into their special forces and hero units and if you don't bring those to the table they can struggle against the Empire who leans into more of their rank and file units. The factions are for the most part balanced against each other but there but if you don't know what You need to put into your army to deal with certain units or strategies it's always going to be tough

@@mrfister1234 apocalypse and kill team play like that so idk why 40k cant either. Keep the phases but only have battle rounds so if it’s the shooting phase, units switch who shoots and with charges too that way an army isn’t wiped out from one person’s whole army charging. Movement phase would be the most interesting cause it’d be like chess where both players are constantly putting each other in check before the fighting begins. Hell even the fight phase is based off activations so idk why the shooting, movement and psychic phase can’t either

Amazing! I’m a fan of 40K and legion, so you guys are the perfect channel!! I’d like to point out that death troopers get an aim token for standbys, not movement and the rebel commandos should have got suppression tokens when the TIE interceptor shot them. A tip for death troopers, use the focus fire upgrade, it’s free and gives you range 4 suppressive shots on everyone, and range 2 red dice, with blast. Great effects, board, minis and gameplay overall! 👍

How many crew or troops in a Super Star Destroyer? Well over 50 thousand though... The A-Wing pilot in Ep 6. Also Holdo maneuver killed the Snoke ship and a few New Order SDs... That's well over 50k.

Picked up the core set. Best decision I've made in quite some time. Putting 40K in the basement. The rules are just so fun and well thought through. The alternating activations of units let's both players play and react instead of 1 player playing for 2 hours beating the snot out of you and if you have anything left you might get to play.

So for the record, when excluding the deathstar, and starkiller base, 50,000 isn't even close to the highest kill count, so long as you include droids the highest would be in millions from destroying primarily lukerholds full of battledroids, but if you only include direct kills on organics (like not counting poltical policies and that) then it would go to Luke because he's destoyed countless star destroyers with tons of people on them, even if you excluded jedi, and organics you'd still have other rebel pilots that that scored many kills on lots of diffrent ships over the years, even just in the vong war civilian deaths was in the trillions

Only for my knowledge... You need to spend a single dodge token to be allowed to use deflect, doesn't it? Because, if i am not wrong, they spent a dodge to avoid one hit and used the same dodge to activate the deflect (21:50) thank you for your help, guys! And very nice video! May the force be with you
