Star Wars Legion was the game I started with to see if I wanted to get into wargaming. Turns out I absolutely love it and then got into Warhammer 40k. I may have more minis of Warhammer, but Star Wars Legion will always be my gateway to this incredibly fun hobby

I greatly appreciate all the explanations throughout the game for the scenario, keywords, etc. It makes it very beginner friendly! It's not delfect, it's Djem Sho Mastery. It doesn't stipulate that the attacker only suffers a wound if it was a ranged attack: "While defending, if you spend a dodge token, you gain [surge to defend] if at least one hit or critical result was canceled, the attacker suffers one wound" Side note, spending the dodge cancels a hit and triggers this effect so unless the attack pool consists entirely of crits and Anakin doesn't have Outmanuever, it is guaranteed.

31:12 Padme could have survived the pierce!! Command card gave her Danger Sense🤣 She should have rolled three defence dice for that one hit; pierce only cancels one hit result, so as long as two or more blocks were rolled then she would survive. EDIT: Also, I'm not sure why Cad Bane's first attack went through without a chance to block, unless the defence roll was edited out? She would have again been able to roll 3 dice for that one hit😬

This looks awesome! The terrain is great and I need to build myself a Naboo map now! The only thing I think I was confused by was the droids not being forced to shoot or do other actions first, due to the AI rule. I believe B1's have to shoot if not issued an order, and an enemy is in range. Love seeing you guys play Legion!

So Deflect does let you surge to defend, but you only cause damage back if the attack is ranged- hence Grevious shouldn't have suffered damage when he attacked Anakin. That said, I imagine Anakin would probably be able to do such things in lore anyways, so it makes sense from that perspective

love legion! just started getting in to it with my father. he’s a big star wars nerd and it’s a lot easier for him to understand than 40k is. we went with empire vs rebels. whenever he comes to visit we always play a few games. but man, i’ve never seen grevious in action.. he kept fighting and fighting 😂
