I see what Vader is doing. He's playing with the Inquisitors constantly getting them to bicker and fight amongst themselves so that one is always constantly trying to prove their loyalty to him. In the end, they're basically always one uping each other which means Vader always gets what he wants. He doesn't care about the Grand Inquisitor or any of them as long as he gets Kenobi.

the Inquisitors are actually a really decent way to have Force Sensitive soldiers without breaking the rule of two. Palpatine has Vader teaching them but They purposefully do not make them too powerful so they cannot rebel against their Masters or Vader can try to overthrow Palpatine with them. In the end since Vader cannot be everywhere at once or can deal with every little issue himself the Inquisitors are there to ensure Vader doesn't have to do everything himself and can have a bit more decent soldiers to obey his orders than simple Stormtroopers BUT they can easily be replaced/killed, It doesn't matter even If they die and they can't pose a threat to Vader or the Empire If their loyalty wavers. Vader in this case uses the Third sister to chase down Obi wan but in the end He will be the one that gets the revenge and He will probably get rid of the third sister since It just DOESN'T MATTER how many Inquisitors he kills as long as He gets Obi wan in the end

I really think my favourite part in every Star Wars spin-offs is when Darth Vader shows up and starts killing everyone without any hesitation and remorse. James Earl Jones is a real legend here. He does the voice role of Darth Vader so well since A New Hope.

"Fun" fact: Vader's suit may keep him alive but it's *super* fucking painful for him. Both because Palpatine's a dick and made it flawed so Vader wouldn't be able to fully surpass him as a threat and also because the horrific pain strengthens Vader's connection and usage of the dark side

There's actually a VR experience where you're running away from Vader. I went to it a couple years ago. You can try to shoot Vader as much as you want but he deflects everything as he slowly walks towards you. It's pretty terrifying.

It's quite possible being a rich entitled princess with humble parents she's recieved quite the education by 10 and is good at reading people. @@AnimeIsArt21 Yeah, no, she's force sensitive and being empathic or being able to read people is a basic skill (it's not mind-reading, probing like Reva did is a dark side skill and very hard). Hell, with no training, Anakin was breezing through all of the basic tests and he was younger. Yes she's educated and posh, but she's also under immense pressure and that helps develop her skills subconsciously.

I think this could set up the "I was but the learner" line that everyone is concerned about. Vader is obviously toying with Obi-Wan and in a twisted way is enjoying the chase. He wants to let Obi-Wan go, he wants him to be afraid, he wants him to suffer…..I also think he wants a better fight. He waited all those years to finally have his revenge and to face the man who left him to burn and when he finally got the chance, he was left unsatisfied. All the built up rage and anticipation just to realize that he could end Obi-Wan in seconds in the state he was in. After everything that happened, Vader wanted more, wanted a challenge, and wanted Kenobi to truly suffer. Vader is so confident, especially after seeing how weak Obi-Wan was, that he'll be able to find him again and kill him easily so he takes advantage of that and allows the chase to continue so he can drag out his former master's suffering and cause the most pain possible. They are most likely going to fight again, but because Vader was arrogant and desired more and decided to let Obi-Wan go, when it’s time for the “rematch of the century” that has been teased and honestly the one that Vader probably wants and has been craving, Obi-Wan will have had time to collect himself and is going to come back much stronger. Obviously Vader doesn't end up killing him and his failure to end him when he first had the chance will cause him to lose the opportunity for real. So then, when we see them fight in A New Hope, Vader has learned his lesson and doesn't try to toy with him, doesn't play games, and doesn’t take the opportunity for granted. He instead just immediately tries to kill him.

This is dumb for one simple reason. Vader lost obi wan for 10 years. Mr all powerful egotistical sith lord who didn't even find obi wan by himself needed others to do it for him despite his power growing so much and being the chosen one 😀 now he let's obi wan go again for what could be another 10 years of which Vadar will sit on his ass again and only meets Obi Wan again due to the situation of others. When it could of been solved by walking around the fire, walking through fire, shooting the droid, or simply using the force to pull obi wan to him and he can keep obi wan alive at his own place.

@@AnimeIsArt21 Check out the comics, Vader is definitely not all powerful, and the Emperor is actually pretty pissed Anakin got got in Episode 3. Vader isn't as strong as he was before getting chopped up, and Darth Sidious isn't interested in Vader being a "chosen one". He's the emperor's pet now and Vader wanted to overthrow him almost immediately. Vader here is extremely disappointed Obi is weak AF and wanted to revel in destroying him. It obviously wasn't satisfying, so he let him go.

Yeah I think Vader is playing the long game. He wants Obi-Wan to suffer but he realizes that he also has help. Plus, Reva found those same Jedi symbols in the room. I bet Obi-Wan is heading to a hidden Rebel settlement with escaped Jedi and Vader follows his trail to it. I’m hoping Cal is mentioned too, especially if Obi-Wan is going to the Inquisitor base to rescue Leia. Cal is the only Jedi to assault that base and live from it. It’d be cool if they meet up and he gets some intel from Cal on the base. Even if it’s a sentence that mentions him, I’ll be happy.

They’ve definitely rebuilt and refortified it during that time. The new game Jedi Survivor is said to take place around Kenobi.

Whenever someone asks me who the greatest movie villain of all time is I will show them this episode. Vader proves once again why he is the master of fear! First he starts by just brutally force chocking and and snapping the necks of random civilians, even dragging one behind him with the Force down a street without breaking stride or even saying a word. Then ignites his lightsaber just to instill fear into Obi-Wan. Then after toying with Obi-wan he drags him through a river of fire like he left Vader in. Also Hayden Christianson killed it in this episode. He looked and felt like the Vader we all knew but when he knocked back Obi-Wan as he was fighting him he started to almost stalk him like in their battle on Mustafar.

Lupa needs to control himself at times. He keeps joking/laughing to himself over parts where some insight could be gained. An example is when Ben was talking about how he was taken as a child, and he had a brother... And correction on Lupa's part; Stormtroopers aren't clones - they are enlisted folk. Which is why their own commanders are like Tala aren't clones. Clones were expensive, which is why the Empire phased them out and used non-enhanced human/humanoids to be Stormtroopers.

Another Fun Fact: the reason Vader only uses one arm when he fights is bc since both his arms are cybernetic he is literally stronger than any organic being and would easily overpower them and might accidentally hurt himself since he has no limiters like a droid

I think I get what that fire thing was about. I see a lot of people talk about it being an oversight. But, i doubt that. I think was not only Vader wanting to continue to chase Obi-Wan to torment him. I think it may have also been sheer frustration, that made Vader not give chase. Think about it, you hunt someone for 10 years. Probably expecting to best him unlike 10 years ago. And when you finally find him. He's a complete push over, a shell of what he once was. Even if it wasn't intentional, its still great writing.

Something to note with Vader, if he's one-handing his lightsaber, it means that he's only really toying with the person he's fighting. He doesn't take it seriously. When he uses two-hands however, THAT'S when he gets serious
