I’m glad you noticed that Vader was aware he was in the Tsukuyomi. It was a nice and subtle way to address his mental prowess even under its effects, and how his personality would nonetheless cause his own defeat. Such a cool scene! 🥰

Great review man, I’m so glad this episode banged for so many Though, minor thing for 13:04. Vader’s eyes didn’t return to blue, he just had Rinnegan eyes, since those trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi get Rinnegan-like eyes

I know a shit ton of people disagree with the result, and while my bias of Naruto will always win the day and as much as I’m happy Obito won, there were some things even I kind of disagree with what I have to say man, your analysis of the fight and the emotion and brought the animation and the ending was extremely well done. While I believe this verdict was correct, more or less (due to simply how broken Kamui is, seriously, its an insane power), if Obito met grandmaster Anakin it would have been very different.

I love Vader, but I had a feeling that Obito would have won, but I am Glad Vader was showcased as a VERY big threat by countering the Beast Bomb with the Force, But I had a feeling that if the Tsukyomi got off it was going to end badly for Vader...

It’s a shame that despite how are good, the episode was in terms of animation. This is gonna be put alongside Ben 10 vs Green lantern and Mario vs Sonic 2018. Because was everyone that the research team, a fanboy for Naruto or something?

I respect you view it as art. But honestly They wanna pride themselves on the power scaling and research and the result is false and why people don't always focus on it because they don't do the proper research and or willingly omit information on 1 or both characters. The ending is cool and originally I did not see his eyes change. that's a cool detail. But Knowing Anikin and how he fought against characters who can do the same thing or have tried He is smart enough and strong enough to know that it is a illusion and it would only fuel his rage and make him break out of the min control even faster. It would be in fact out of character for Vader to willingly accept the fake illusion Its still a cool fight but the ending does in fact matter to ones overall enjoyment and tying the project/product together. People will always remember how something ends because that is what can stick in the viewers minds and make something complete. (Someone the Comments said his eyes do not change But it would have been kinda cool if that did happen in the actual fight anyway Just had to add this addendum here)

It's such a shame, that this rather good episode is gonna be remember in the long term for the verdict and how wrong it is rather for what it does right, remember people in a vs show, the verdict does matter and if its wrong it taints the rest of the episode

@@djb9267 So I think it's less about "where" I scale them to "how" I scale them. Yes Vader has some insane feats, he has dodged light and scales to Sidious who has planetary feats. BUT That's just not how fighting works in Star Wars. There are thousands of examples, just from the 6 movies Anakin/Vader is in that he can't just constantly fight like that. Like OK this is Darth Bane not Vader but I think it demonstrates what I mean. Bane has a feat where, for practice, he would stand in a downpour with his lightsaber and swing it around so fast he vaporizes every drop and stays completely dry. That is an insane feat, and in universe it is treated like it, he is DARTH Bane, he is a Sith Lord, that is not something that, for instance, a normal Padawan can do. BUT it's also shit compared to lightspeed. There can not be a system where both light speed is his normal fighting speed as a Sith Lord, AND this rain feat is even mildly noteworthy, the difference in speed between literal light and normal if hard rain is simply to big. Vader can do, very temporarily and only if his mind is in the right place, stupid levels of feats. He can NOT, just spend 5 minutes operating on that level constantly without strain. There are SO MANY instances that prove that. Anakin fighting Obi-Wan on Mustafar where we see things move around them not at light speed, Blaster Bolts which are in canon super heated gas not actual lasers, one of the best ways to kill a Jedi is slug throwers, Star Wars version of guns, because they melt when touching the lightsaber and the Jedi can't react to that melting in time, and bullets are simply to slow to get from the lightsaber to the Jedi holding it without being noticed if they are reacting at light speed. Star Wars, as a consistent "this character can fight like this on an average day for a prolonged period of time" does not scale THAT high. Well beyond human of course, but not to light, not even a fraction of light. For Naruto, this is much simpler. We have multiple light-speed feats in Part 1 by not even Kage level characters like Kakashi and Haku. Obito scales to Minato and potentially Juubidara depending on how you scale, which is like scaling dozens of times beyond that Part 1 feat. And sure that's absurd numbers but this is anime. We also directly see Obito's mask take a hit from KCM Naruto, who scales to small mountain range levels based on how he can contend with characters like Son Goku(the Four tails) and Kurama, and not even flinch. Obito IS always operating under these conditions, if he's fighting it is at minimum multi-light speed and mountain levels of defense. Many of his techniques are also not based on simple principles, first time he uses Kamui he doesn't even know he has the Mangekyou yet, even if he can't think to react in time his body can, his Izanagi warps reality to revive himself, and Kamui works on shifting dimensions, something that most verses, like Star Wars, has no way to answer. To put it simply Star War's big feats are not "constant, every day fighting feats" and typically rely on the character using them in the right way in the right mind space and sometimes in the right location. Naruto is constant, and sometimes is just "deal with this, there is no practical out, you can't out think or trick this away".

@@nahte123456 The feat from Darth bane should not be used to downplay Sith. It was only training, blasters are said to move at light speed in numerous sources. Sidious and vader should more likely be at least Star level, due to sith who are far weaker than them having stuff on that level. We can have a discussion about legends vader vs obito, if you'd like.

@@djb9267 That's just factually untrue about blasters, like I even looked and can not find anything like that, in fact the one thing I did find discussed that the max canon source was only 1,000MPH. Unless you can cite me this source. Also claiming they are star level due to "feats" isn't an argument, like I said yes in the right circumstances in the right frame of mind in the right place they can do insane things. That doesn't make it something they can do in a fight. Sidious could ravage planets with Force Storm but that wasn't his own power that was accessing the ambient Dark Side of the force and directing it.

The problem was, nothing was stopping Vader from just popping Obito's head like a melon. If he had defenses against psychic attacks, this might've been a good fight.

@@dephony5648 Except you can't see the Force coming. Which means you'll be dead before you could use kamui. The only way for Obito to fully protect himself from the Force would be to transfer ALL of himself to another dimension. That, and Obito doesn't have psychic precognition, but Vader does. So Vader would be able to sense when and where Obito would be popping out, but the same can't be said for Obito.

@@HolyknightVader999 you actively can with precognition see your head exploding, and put yourself into Kamui before that happens. He wouldn't need to put anything else into Kamui, only his head to make his head not explode so I don't see your point. And even if his head does explode when their stats are equal in the episode, Hashirama cells give you regeneration of Alucard. It's not like it's the first time Obito's head exploded and he came back from that.

@@dephony5648 Vader can make more than just Obito's head explode. Heck, look at the 2003 Clone Wars cartoon and how Kenobi made Durge's entire body explode with the Force like a balloon. Vader's precognition far surpasses that of Obito. That, and his Force power allows him to put more energy per strike than Naruto could. Then you also have the problem that his mental powers far surpass that of Obito; just peering into his mind could shatter a powerful psychic like Ahsoka Tano. Vader didn't even wish to shatter Ahsoka's mind, but it happened instinctively, because Vader was way too strong. Regeneration means nothing if your mind gets shattered by just touching the other guy's. Obito wouldn't be able to put Vader in an illusion at all.

@@HolyknightVader999 Ashoka Tano was never a powerful psychic, and with announcement of her own show she still isn't. And you don't give a single shred of evidence to say it's somehow more powerful than Obito's, who's mind didn't waver against the actual infinite power of an evil beast that is ten tails. It couldn't break Obito, and neither could a son of a goddess black zetsu, and neither could Madara. All of these people were able to subdue any other opponent but not Obito(or Madara cuz he could also control the Juubi), and that's purely because of his will. You never watched Naruto admit it.
