I called darton and they said yes but they have no idea when they will start selling separately from the bow. Sales rep estimated 40-50 Dollars per set.

Any chance you’ll test one like you do everything else at 70lbs, 30” draw, and the mods? I’d like to see how it stacks up to my original Consequence. I’m wondering if the performance mods, once available, would be worth adding to my bow. Couple other things I’m wondering… For those who own a Sequel and since they have the same cams. First, will it in fact work on a Sequel and second, how much performance does it add to that bow? Interesting stuff!

I think Lancaster Archery did a test with speed mods at 70lbs 30in.

you said the riser is upgraded but didnt say why. is it more dureable? Or does is have less imperfections?
@johnsmith49333 ай бұрын
my understanding is they switched to a forged riser as opposed to a billit CNC. It's supposed to be a bit stronger and substantially cut down on time on the CNC machine.

Can you get a speed mod for the sequel 33?
@markjohnson88654 ай бұрын
I might be in the market for a low poundage "budget" friendly bow. This may fill that need. I have to see how much strength I lose following cancer surgery next week and any treatments that follow. This archery season is already off the table. I could throw 55lb mods on my Lift 33, but would prefer to leave it alone for when I am back to full strength. I want to build some kicking cancer's ass themed arrows for a new setup....so when are you dropping the Sonic inserts!!!!

I think if you need anymore bow for hunting you are just spending for the sake of spending!!! lol , But yes it is sometimes nice to have higher end gear. Sorry , sometimes my tight Ukrainian nature shows itself. However ,doubt a critter can tell the price difference. 😉 I will never shoot to the potential of my Consequence. Really enjoying MFJJ's reviews.

I got a early Consequence and hated it. I went to the Prelude due to it having a bit more ATA over the Sequel. I machined a Picatinny for the sight and sent it out to be Ceram coated in my camo choice. Darton has been my bow of choice since '96 and it rubbed off on my 2 boys.

I’ve got the consequence and compared to my bear legit, it’s a million times better BUT this is only my 3rd ever bow. First one was a pse stinger gx that was a pawn shop buy and never set it up properly for myself

Is a 60lb bow sitting a 300g arrow supposed to shoot same velocity as the 70lb bow shooting a 350g arrow? And an 80lb with a 400g arrow?
@bnelsonmedia4 ай бұрын
Yes, 5grains of arrow weight per pound of draw weight, keeps things relatively comparable-ish.
@madman4320004 ай бұрын
@@bnelsonmedia Just wondering because on my older elite bows the manual says subtract 2fps for 60lb draw weight, maybe they were maintaining the same 350g arrow weight. But if they used the 5g per pound of draw weight that may mean a different efficiency at 60.
@bnelsonmedia4 ай бұрын
@@madman432000 I know what you’re talking about from elites manuals. They are referring to a 300 grain arrow at 60lbs. 2ft/second probably is a realistic expectation. I think for testing purposes, it’s still the best way to compare apples to apples. Might be a couple feet off, but it’s the best we’re going to get. I think there’s just as much variation in the chronographs themselves also. Unfortunately, none of it is exact
