Scutt is pure class. Hope he does well this year, i'll be supporting him for sure. Proper bloke.

Connor Scutt is a class act. He's a terrific player and his board management is second to none. If he carries on like he did last year he could easily get top 32. When he's on form none of the top pros would want to play him. Good luck this year Connor.

I think having a second division would be good, I would also increase the premier league to 10 players, then bottom 2 at the end drop down and the top 2 of the second division go up. As for the Asp being in the premier league, I believe he should be. He is a great dart player a fan favourite, on his day he can beat any of the players in the league, his nemesis seems to to be the Nuke, but he’s getting back to his best, quarter finals of the World championship, played well in Bahrain. I think he could even make the top 4 this year in the league and then it’s anyone’s night. Although I think it’s one of the titles Luke will retain this year, as well as two other majors. We have 2 new players in the premier league this season in Bunting and Dobey and I think they rightfully deserve to be there. You are always going to upset somebody, but let your darts do the talking, make it so they can’t overlook you. The walk on song is great but not why these players get chosen. You have the top 5 in the world, then gerwin price, who when gets it right threw a 115 average to beat littler in Bahrain (who averaged 105 himself), we will have multiple winners in the league but my top 4 will be the 2 Luke’s, Bunting and Aspinal, with a repeat of last years final

Yeah no top professional would say it needs promotion and relegation, it doesnt work, thank god he’s never going to be in it, its a once a week top player entertainment extravaganza, fans arent going to go to two different premier league nights in the same week because they can’t afford it firstly, it would get stale very very fast, you wont see many players saying it needs promotion and relegation, especially the best of the best which are the ones that it should be based around, its not a ranking event so it doesnt need promotion and relegation anyway, the only thing that has to change is the format going back to what made it great and thats it.

I think it's pretty brave for you to say so confidently that he'll never be in it. He's only 28, played exceptionally well for the past 2 years, and has had several current and former players raving about his potential including Gary Anderson who's hyped him up in interviews numerous times. I think Scutt will at least make a major final in the next couple years and I'd be surprised if he's not top 16 in 2 years' time. From there, PL is not that big of a stretch. I do agree to an extent that a 2nd division probably wouldn't work, however I do think there should be some form of "relegation," as in, I think the player who finishes bottom of the league should be automatically excluded from the following season. This would really make there be no dead rubber games, no players with nothing to play for in the last couple weeks.

It needs two leagues, with relegation and promotion

Awful idea!

It doesn't need two leagues, wouldn't work and would be far too messy. Just needs a 10 player league, relegate the bottom 3 for the following year.

@@idi0tdetectioninprogress how would that work if one of those one the worlds?

Course it does - premier league is a terrible format - inevitable it turns into a meritocratic league
