I wished they would change the format for the Premier League. The best of the best are allways able to beat each others and I want to see them clash! Maybe the top 16 players in two groups should play weekly and after the cut on finals Night they play a small tournamet. I know, the biggest issue is probably the TV time. Else they should just let the top8 play, I want to see the best of the best.

I'm not for a secdond trying to imply Edgar's format idea is not his own - but last year we've been discussing our own format ideas for the Premier League, and the most popular one (can't remember who came up with it) was basically what Edgar is detailing here. So, I whole-heartedly agree with Edgar about this format idea. (Well, except the "relegation" part where the last place player would be automatically excluded from next year's Premier League regardless of how he perform during the year - imagine, say, Littler getting injured or has a month's lull, just enough to have a really bad Premier League, finishes last - and then goes on to have a year like he had last year, or even better, and caps it off by winning the World Championship... imagine then him not playing in the Premier League... that would be a horrible decision.)

I'm not a fan of two weeks of 8, if you pay a lot of money to go to watch the premier league you want to see Luke Littler. I think go back to the 10 player format with relegation halfway through but have the players who are relegated illegible for next year unless they're in the top 4 or win a TV major.

​@@brucehutchison4169 Actually 2 Belgians won big tournaments Dimitri Van Den Bergh won the UK open and De Decker won the World Grand Prix. If you look at De Decker's averages they were between 81 and 96, so he was very lucky to win it. I would have picked De Decker over Aspinall because it's always good to have one new player.

Pro tours are mainly for confidence and ranking money for the players below perhaps 50th in the world
