Harrows Clic Flight and Shaft system review: Part 1

Hi Darren , I’ve only just come across this Harrows clic system. Good review and interesting to see older type flights , this will be added to my cosmo system favourites. 👍

Its good but my problem is my darts would get stuck in the little window and would rip it. Some people dont have that issue though, all depends on how your darts land and connect :)

Sorry to say I've just discovered the clic harrows system and the winmau stealth. I think I'll give both a go. Great review, nice to see the early stuff too, my dad swears by feather flights haha

I quite liked the Clics but the only issue I had is my darts would get stuck in the little window where the stem clics through. But all these kind of systems are worth trying at least once to see if you like them :) I have loads of old feather flights :)

Good to hear, I think everyone has their own preference for various reasons but I think it works well :)

A short summary of my personal experiances with this system. But before that i like to explain how i came to using this system and why i quit using them. I started out 5 years back with Fit Flight System, i played 4 seasons with that system and only changed 2 flights and 1 shaft in that four years. Still i thought the system was to expansive and then came Harrows Clic. I started to use them and i found out they were cheaper for a reason. The hole in the flight makes the flights weak and easy to break, as soon as a dart goes in to that hole the flight is broken, so after only one game i lost two flights and 1 shaft because it just broke as soon as my dart hit the board after three turns. So i went back to the Fit Flight System. So when you say they took the best quality's of other systems you proberbly ment they needed less durability so they can sell more. Sorry to say this, but Harrows need to look up 'Best quality's' in the dictionary before they claim to have used the best quality's of other systems!

Marchel de Waard After using the flights a longer period of time my biggest problem is the little window because I get a lot of my darts sticking in it, but I suspected that would be an issue for me due to how my darts enter the board but some people have used them without that same problem. I find it hard to believe your fit flights lasted so long unless your a soft tipper? I like fit flights too but like all these systems they are not bombproof! I have had fit flights rip on my first few throws and I have had many shafts break too, still never stopped me buying them as I liked the way they worked but like you say it got a bit expensive in the end and now I just tend to stick with standard nylon stems and 100 micron flights. I still have plenty of fit flights and and L-style flights too but I tend to use them less than what I used to. I think all these systems have pros and cons and you need to at least try them once to see how they perform for you personally, I dont think any of them have solved every issue yet though. The Clics lasted well until I got a few hits through the little window but others may not have that same issue so thats why its worth trying at least once and finding out what works best for you. I had a set of Condor flights that lasted me months before they finally ripped and I was very impressed with the durability so I bough some more, my first throw on my second dart it went straight through the flight, no worries as it just left a hole and it still worked ok. But it must have weakened it and after a couple of days it was split, so that set never lasted as long as my first set but I still like those flight its just they are hard to get hold of in the U.K. :)

Darts Review Channel I am going to try the Winmau Stealth Flight system now for a view weeks. Nice thing about those is that they have oear shapes and the normal type. The nice thing about Fit Flight is that they have several more sorts to choose out of. And are easy to become here in the Netherlands. All three systems are by the way.

Not tried the Stealths yet but a lot are saying they make their darts hang down, but will need to try them myself too :)

Today i will buy those, and if they hang down i will be kind of happy, love to lay my other darts on top :D As long as the first one is in the bottom of the treble or under the treble, as soon as it is on top i will need to shift to 19 :P Will let you know what i think about the Stealths
