I like the look of these

I think these boards, along with Unicorn, are 18" in diameter. Others are 17.5". This means my surround wont fit, possibly not my target light.

They're awesome boards. Made by Shot, which is based here in NZ, and I've been playing competitive darts on them for a couple of months. Awesome boards!

Great review, Darren. A great dart, no question. Shot really brings exceptionally beautiful darts onto the market. What annoys me a bit, regardless of whether it's Shot or another manufacturer: I often have the impression that the sharpest grip isn't at the front, especially with front-heavy darts. Of course, not every player touches the front of the dart. But especially for players like me, who reach extremely far forward and prefer front-heavy darts, this can sometimes be a bit of a downer. I'll still give them a chance. Maybe there will be one or two reviews of the new Japan series from Target in the near future. Best regards

Why did they do away with the composite wrap with better wire holders n the foam wedges n cardboard sound backing? Is the banding metal? Surface def looks better than previous gens. I've had issues with glue in-between packets sticking to points. Don't see y they'd do away with wedges n cardboard when it's not gonna cost much more.

If the textured finish (grip?) extends over the DSS, is it still a DSS? Asking for a friend 😁 Another fine review, thanks Darren

Very tempting. These look very impressive. Not a shape I've had before and quite a short barrel, but I think these would suit my rear grip. Fortunately it doesn't cost anything to dream! ☺☺☺

Nice to see Shot constantly refreshing their catalogue. This one definitely feels like it has been influenced by some of the darts that come out of Japan.

Very nice. Reminds me of a Shot Legion without the scallop. These darts might change you into a mid-gripper.

They’re not for me, but they’re certainly a nice looking dart, and if you like that shape, I’d think you’d get along well with these. Shot does do some clean machining, I must say. My all time favorite dart of theirs is the Rowby John Rodriguez dart (blue/gold); it is just a perfectly machined dart that looks gorgeous. I also like the koi Carbon stems, they’re really good quality, and I’d certainly use them if I wasn’t strictly loyal to L-Style carbons with L-Style flights. Thanks for the review, Darren.

I was thinking of buying this but having read the comments its not good on carpeted floor. Ive been using the master darts roll up mat for 10 years. It does the trick on carpet, and as its 237cm its lip sort of acts as a little raised oche. Think I'm gonna get an oche bar and install it when the wife is out 😂😂

Looks nice - I like my board that it has a different sound to different bits - A low dull echo thud of the double or that loud tight clunk of the bullseye. I am such an old fart - I like the little legs to the segments - and I like the veins of the biscuits - makes a board look like classy marble Feels like I am playing in the Temple of Trebles, The Duomo of Doubles, the Cathedral of Checkouts or just the Baslica of Bull

Nice REview, Darren. Thanks a lot. Do you have more details regarding the puck bracket system? Most important for me: prevents it your board from rotating during the game. In your video, it looks as if you can only rotate the board after lifting it a little bit. That would be really cool. One of the main reasons for me to stay at winmau (apart for the good quality) was always the rota lock system. I was never a big fan of wedges or similar stuff. thanks a lot

Thanks for review Darren, only two logos makes it easy to blank them out with a black felt tip pen , as when rotated it never looks the same. I did it on my winmau but a lot more to black out on it 👍. An after thought but as you know the Target Aspar board keeps its uniform look wherever turned but leaves noticeable sized point holes but I still like it. Your review has certainly shown this could be a board worth trying 👍

I think Simon Withlock should have a KZbin channel... that would be the ultimate test for any Dartboard...

Just looks a beautiful board…… as you say it all depends on the wear and healing when in use……but so clean looking as you say……….would go as far to say cleanest looking board on the market

It is a very clean-looking, quality board. I like near-flush wiring segments, and the price - especially being from Shot - isn’t unreasonable. If it truly does heal the best, then it may even be a better option than the Blade 6 Triple-or just a good.

Great looking kit. I like that they haven't gone overboard on the branding around the outside. And the mounting system is better than that what tjey normally provide.
