Love his signature kit, definitely want one of my own with triggers with spd-sx/TM-6pro/EAD-10 any of those modules and this kit is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I have td-17/strike/SMP/spd-30 currently but I’m always in the look out to expand my sound palette and gear.

timing/pocket is mindblowing! there's only few drummers who can "say" so much musically with mainly just a kick/snare/hihat. But the setup c'mon! Really just for the sake of being "unique", back problems guaranteed. Remember that drummer with that super weird snare angle? Yes, course!

I don’t see your argument. The emperor’s clothes were nonexistent, a fallacy. Daru can play, no tricks, no fallacy. Whether you like the playing or not does not, in fact, delegitimize the musical statement. He is a unique voice in the drumming world, if you choose not to see that, then you don’t see the fly outfit he actually has on. Too bad.

@@michaelperkins399 not seeing the time argument. He’s playing to a backing track, so unless he’s found a way to speed up and slow down a recording, he’s playing in time. In front or behind the beat is a personal choice and something else entirely. I’m sorry but I don’t see it.
