This is the first of our multi part series of videos covering our adventures as we journey through the heart of the Kimberley region, along the infamous Gibb River Road through, eventually to Broome.
In this episode we travel to Kununurra, stopping at free camps and roadhouses along the way. We check out Lake Argyle, the Old River Dam, Ivanhoe Crossing (which is still closed because of floodwater), El Questro station and the Pentecost River crossing.
We also discuss some of the changes and improvements we made to the Ran and caravan, including fitting the excellent Mopar genuine digital HD caravan rear camera to the Ram

Well Pete & Jill, as usual, another first class production with great and informative narration. The scenery is just superb and I loved seeing those random boab trees. The quality of the vision and the various drone and pan shots really give a great perspective. Colin is a gun, helping with all those upgrades and great upgrades too. Thank you so much.

Great footage and commentary as we have come to expect from you both. Great to have good travelling companions and so helpful to boot. Well done Colin. We enjoyed our trip over the top in 2014, stayed at Timber Creek a few days and did the river cruise. It was much “safer” then though. Fabulous country.

Thank you Jeff. Yes it's a great country, it's just such a pity that places like Timber Creek have been ruined by its population. Its not so much that its "unsafe" its just that apathy has taken over and no one seems to care about anything...

@@4and2VanningVery sad it is Pete. We have great memories of our several days there and the boat trip down the river.

Hey Glenn… it’s a genuine Mopar part imported from the USA, although I bought mine on eBay. If you send me a message via facebook I’ll send the part reference number.
