Very cool aboriginal art. Love seeing all those varieties of birds and always cool to see those Wallabies.Including those black footed wallabies. Those are some some BIG CROCKS and thanks for the reminder to keep ALL limbs in the boat since they can jump. So funny to see those wallabies fighting which is probably either to win the heart of the females or to gain control of the house. LOL. Great video and creative. Thank you. Could you watch our latest video, as we'd love to hear your thought as well.

Yes, these crocs were huge! From the saltwater to the freshwater crocs, any source of water is potentially home to one of these toothy creatures! For the fighting wallabies, I think there was a cute lady somewhere close, so it was definitely to win her over!

I love aboriginal art as well, and I'm glad to see the art preserved in video for sure. I get nervous about losing these ancient jewels.

Some great nature photography here! I grew up in an area with annual and 10 year cicadas, and you're 100% right, the noise can be deafening! Thanks for sharing your journey! -Howard

@@Zewanderingfrogs Oh, haha, I meant I grew up in ANOTHER area with cicadas (in the USA), not Kakadu. Same sort of thing, though, annual cicadas and then LOTS of them every 10 years...

@@NewstateNomads Oops, sorry, I misread your comment! Lol! If you don't mind me asking, which part of the US was that? In California, we got to hear them often but never to level we heard in Kakadu!

Loved the kangaroo pic. Those waterfalls are beautiful! Wow, such cool rock art. That frog was so cute, I can do without the spiders though ;p Eeak, those ants!!! Woah, 10,000 crocs??? Oh no!!! Not the tree snake!!! You captured so much wildlife. What a great trip!
@Zewanderingfrogs4 жыл бұрын
I am not a spider person either, give me a frog any day (and not just because of our names!). Kakadu has rich wildlife, and it was awesome to see such a diversity of animals. That, and the rock art, really made for a fantastic trip!

Wow those spiders are something else! Looks like a really great time seeing wildlife and staying away from the cities!

That's what we do most of the time. Not big on cities, though a few places like Sydney were pretty neat to explore.

That's Australia for you! All about wildlife and landscape. If you ever go, check Kangaroo Island as well, south of Adelaide. Koalas, kangaroos, beautiful coast, rock formations - simply amazing.

I am just always amazed at how green Australia can be. You always just assume it is desert-like but it really has a lot of greenery. I am not messing with the crocodile absolutely not! You see the size of that thing!

Australian history is indeed fascinating. Even coming from the "Old Continent" of Europe, Aboriginal culture and history are on such a different scale. Kakadu is a great place for birdwatching, these wetlands are packed them.
