Daryl Dixon was promising until they killed off Isabelle. I loved her character and hoped she would come with to the US with Laurent at the end of the show. What are these writers thinking…dropped the ball yet again.

@@theohuntt to me the only way to revitalize the franchise is to have a culmination event that wraps everyone’s story and kills Negan or he gets the cabin imprisonment for life and Rick must die because the story the original show is not over as long as he lives. Than we tell new stories like the Telltale games.

Isabelle's death really killed my hype for this spinoff. Season 1 was good and actually had a good stand-a-lone cast separate from the main series and wasn't too dependent on the main characters. The family dynamic of Daryl, Isabelle, and Laurent was the best, and they just ruined the entire plot/dynamic. This franchise is really mishandled, and the writers keep disappointing

Well season 2 is good because we get Carol now. Also this season was action packed and they nicely tied up the Paris story before heading out to London. So there's no loose ends and they didn't drag the story out. But honestly a week after watching the season 2 honestly can't even remember the characters names. 😂

The CRM 😂 they were the first to do it at the very beginning episode of the main show. Also the crew flew a plane in Fear. Not disagreeing with you though, just saying its not like DD is the only TWD show to have shown people flying planes. My biggest concern would definitely be someone sho*ting it out of the sky (like Michonne and Nat did).

I’m meh on Isabelle. It was pretty clear from the beginning she was only added because Melissa couldn’t do season 1. If Melissa had done season 1, Isabelle wouldn’t have been a character. They killed her off as soon as Carol was back. I also don’t find it believable that Daryl would fall for Isabelle that fast when the only romantic interest he has in TWD is Leah and that developed over 10-12 months. Daryl had only known Isabelle 2 weeks. Super out of character. Glad he never said he loved her.

Well this is normal. As shows drag on it loses viewers and the fun factor diminishes so that's why every show ratings decline with each season until it's cancelled. But TWD is still going strong and why fans subscribe to AMC. But they've added great new content now that's worth the subscription. Like snowpiercer and nautilus which is a Jules Verne adaptation.

i was just thinking, it wouldve been a much better idea to just have the main show + the ones who live, but give towl like 3 seasons to really flesh out the crm, and the biggest antagonists in the twd amc universe. then the maggie and negan scene in 11x24, which is arguably the best scene in the show, is crossed out by dead city. The spinoffs just dont make sense and its just a money speedrun, kinda like toy story 4

I notice how quickly they kill off interesting character's in these spin offs that makes the show dip off in quality. Like them killing Okafor, and the main villain in the ones who live, even them killing Jadis in such a anticlimactic way kinda killed the show a little for me. It's the same with this show and them killing off Isabelle. I'm so tired of them creating interesting character's just to quickly kill them off and give more screentime to character's I've already known and seen for years already.

This is without even getting into the massive disappointment and wasted potential of the super walkers and tying them and Genet together with the World Beyond post credits scene and variants storyline that wouldve helped to expand on the lore and world building and explain everything. The super walkers were cool but they never actually explained anything and didn't make any connections to things theyve set up that still need answers and payoff

I personally enjoyed this season, with the writers revealing the fate of two more countries (Greenland and Britain), as well as the Caryl reunion. I'm disappointed they killed off Isabelle, Genet, and hilariously introduced a couple more antagonists to also die. Season 3 felt rushed if anyting, should've included longer or more episodes. Hoping Codron returns in S3.

Sophia’s death was good for the early seasons of TWD. But then TWD just started handing out plot armor like it was nothing and it just made it have 0 impact. Sophia’s death is what truly solidified that TWD wasn’t scared to have things be dark. Sophia’s death was what truly showed people that this is a series where NOBODY is safe, it doesn’t matter if you’re a child, an old man, or a 20 year old. You are NOT safe in this world, and you can die. Only for them to give us stuff like Rosita falling into an entire herd of walkers and walking out with only a singular bite to her shoulder.

Her rising with only a singular bite mark is an exemplification of how even though she didn't survive that, she proved she loved her child greatly that she would die in order for them to live. Sorry lmao just trying to picture how Gimple sold the explanation of that scene to the actress🤣🤣 we all know Rosita and the baby would've been torn to shreds no matter how much 'adrenaline' she had (especially since they literally showed us a walker slamming Luke to the ground like an episode before this).

I honestly enjoyed this season, and it's way better than Dead City. But I do think that the writers rushed things. I got the impression that they got scared of doing something big out of Laurent's plotline (I was hoping for something like that book " The girl with all the gifts "), and Genet died too early (I wished there was more scenes of her and Carol, I liked their dynamic). The other " Villains " Are just laughable. Ash is a great addition, but they could have cut that story with the women and worked in developing his partnership with Carol. The season finale pissed me off, though. Codron is my favorite character and they did him dirty. Great video as always, my dude. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on season 3!.

Does anyone else remember in season 1 when Daryl went out of his way to save the one guy who killed that 16 year old boy who was just trying to get home to his family? He strangled him to have an extra walker in his round up and said, "You snooze, you lose." There was something terribly wrong with this, and I was frothing at the mouth to see Daryl wreck this guy. For the later seasons and what I've seen of the other shows, I gotta say I'm really happy for them to find the time in a post-apocalyptic world to look so clean and for their clothes to last so well.
