From the PROJECTS, SUBURBIA, and FABULOUS point of VIEW of PRIDE LIFE & PACK LIFE!!! Looking at LIFE from a 7year old, 14 year old, 21 year old & this year I'll be a HALF A CENTURY. I'm trying to stay away, But it's really hard, Like the concrete on the streets, Gotta pull out a wild card, Cuz life is like a game, Like I'm playing spades, I'll soon be reunited with the ones, Who couldn't leave the streets alone in the grave....HENCHA!

Absolute 80s masterpiece. And it's not even my favourite song of theirs. I see so many people around my age say how much was so much better back then, and it's simply not true: there's always been great music and terrible music out there. So, if you're one of those people who think no good music was produced after they hit the age of 30 or so, think about this.... there's a generation of hugely talented young musicians out there who grew up listening to, and is influenced by, all the music you love. You're denying yourself so much good stuff, purely because you have no nostalgic connection to it. I'm going to give one recommendation of something to listen to: Raye. She's young, she's had a troubled life, it comes out in her lyrics, but look up her NPR Tiny Desk. You might not like it, but do not tell me that that young lady and her band aren't hugely talented. But if you do like, I'm happy to have brought her into your life and I hope you will be open to trying new music, good stuff is out there.
