@@numerz For many years they have been planning to bridge Princes Hwy, Springvale Rd, Centre Rd and Police Rd. For many years there have been vacant land around the corners of this nightmare intersection. I call it a nightmare intersection because I can still recall the deadly smashed I've seen there. The local Government and those idiots at VicRoads (then called Road Safety Authority) have had many chances to go ahead when Blanchard Motors closed down and the land was vacant for some time and, at around the same time a fuel service station opposite Springvale Rd also closed a few years later, including all that empty land at the othe corner of Springvale Rd and Princes Hwy that is now Alison Monkhouse. These empty corners have been vacant for some years and the pricks did nothing despite some serious collisions since I remember since 1970. Eventually the Blanchard site as it was known started to build and became Impala kitchens with other sub shops around the same corner. Then the large empty land was developed to become Alison Monkhouse and the other corner at the end of Centre Rd., next to the ex Blanchard was a residential corner. The houses were demolished and on the land then a used car yard was built that traded for many years until it closed and the yard and building, being vacant for some time, then became Australian Lighting until today (now LightUp). Back around the time when Alison Monkhouse already was trading, the old petrol station had been closed and left vacant for quite some time, until the developers started to build on it, a building that had housed Dick Smith Electronics for years until Dick Smith sold out and the company was franchised until it's demise, when it collapsed and closed doors. Now days, the building is used by Coles. All these years and many chances and opportunities to build a triple pass bridges similar to the Eastlink bridges at Noble Park where Heatherton Rd, is above Eastlink and Princes Hwy below Eastlink. A simplified plan that should have been done at the Princes Hwy/Springvale Rd/Centre Rd/Police Rd. But no, while they were planning over the years (yea, planning my ass) and squabbling on to do or not to do this blasted overpass/underpass bridges, more people have been killed, party because of impatient drivers and partly because of political bullshit. In the end, we are left with this nightmare, with tbis eyesore and at the same time we pay the high cost of registrarion, insurance, fuel levy, brakes, tyres and God knows what else, we still haven't got those bridges. But, if it was a toll highway like Citylink or Eastlink, oh yes, oh yes, you'll get bridges there, yes of course, no worries, as long a you pay the toll daily for as long as it keeps their coffers full. And once you leave these toll roads you're back to delays from one traffic lights controlled intersection and the next, and the next. Ha! If you think you've saved time by travelling on Citylink or Eastlink, you're wrong, you will lose that saved time when you're stuck bumper to bumper for as many traffic lights controlled intersections as you care to cop along your entire journey and, and you have also lost toll money, paid for rush rush thinking you would get to destination earlier, ha! You will never win with these crooks. Why I say this? Because it is almost 20 years since the Burnley tunnel opened and the cost that was supposed to be 30 billions should have already been paid, considering also, that many streets and roads had been either closed or diverted to make the traffic use the tunnels, that meant that, counting all the cars and trucks and at the toll fee each had to pay, the cost of Citylink would have been paid at least 5-6 Years ago. But they haven't stopped the toll because drivers using Citylink have been paying for the massive Eastlink project. And while the Citylink users are paying for the road they use, why are they paying for Eastlink and then Eastlink users are also paying the toll for Eastlink itself? It doesn't make sense. Citylink should reduce the toll costs. They don't have to pay for roads they don't use, such as Eastlink, unless they use Eastlink which they will pay a separate toll fee. It not only doesn't sense but it's also not even fair.

@Don Boss Women are, most times, the worst in regards to fat shaming. As a fat kid growing up, boys never talked down to me because of my size, it was the girls who were brutal. I lost the weight as a teen, through anorexia, because I couldn't deal with the bullying anymore. Thankfully, I overcame that fairly quickly, but the emotional baggage stayed with me much longer. Not sure what this chick was thinking, uploading this clip, because it certainly makes her look like an ass.

I hate it like everyone else. However, in this instance it wasn't peak hour traffic or even busy at all. And his a courier, probably didn't know where he was going and relying on GPS. If you ever stuff up and end up in the wrong lane you'd want someone to let you in and should give them the courtesy raising of the hand for their good will if they do.
@nitehawk92706 жыл бұрын
And you are the reason there is road rage. Chill, you'll get to your destination 4 seconds later at worse.
@eagerturtle47916 жыл бұрын
The same thing could be said to the person trying to push in. If they're in the wrong lane, they could take a detour and go another route without having to slow down traffic. It's not a huge deal to just wait until the next turn off if you missed it. Trying to push in is what causes the road rage.
@123fourfive56 жыл бұрын

@b0rnwithabeard6 жыл бұрын
1984 is not a handbook nah totally the drivers fault in this case. Truck indicated before moving; all the 4WD had to do was brake and he would’ve avoided all of that.
@Lustle6 жыл бұрын
Aaron James Oh you've seen the start of the video? You know for a fact that the truck was signaling when the cammer started to drive alongside him? Please share that with the rest of us. If you haven't seen the rest of the video, then you don't know that for sure. Do you? Just talking out of your ass really. For all we know his camera wasn't started until he noticed the truck coming over and turned it on. Or it only records and keeps a certain amount and you have to tell it to save a chunk. There are dash cams like that. Either way. Doesn't really matter, does it? A signal light doesn't give you an automatic right to the next lane. It's there to SIGNAL your INTENTION to switch lanes. Doing so safely rests on the driver. This truck driver failed miserably at that. Even if he did start to signal before the car pulled along side him. How do he know he saw it? Signal lights are easily obscured by A pillars and other things. You move into the lane when it's clear. That's the rules of the road. For a reason. So either the truck driver signaled when a car was already in that lane and started moving over. Forcing the car off the road. Which means he can't drive safely. Doesn't check his mirrors. Doesn't pay attention to a horn. And is just, in general, a shit driver. Or he signaled before the car was beside him. The car started passing him anyways. Truck driver got pissy about it. Had a little temper tantrum. And forced a vehicle off the road on purpose. All because what, he can't handle a little traffic? He had to pass right then did he? Either way. Not a professional driver. He shouldn't be driving. If he was here he'd lose his CDL, face several thousands in fines, and hopefully be banned from driving for a period. Forcing someone off the road, whether through negligence or on purpose, isn't the kind of person who should be behind the wheel of a 100ft 100,000KG vehicle. Should he?
@friendly.fire.6 жыл бұрын
Lustle Excellent observation, very eloquently put, and I wholeheartedly agree. We found ourselves in a similar situation recently. A truck like the one in the video deliberately ran our car off the road changing into our lane, even when I was completely in front in a big red SUV (hard to friggen miss if you aren't blind). He sped up and began entering our lane before I could slow down and let his big 30 tonne ass in. I laid on the horn but he must have been deaf as well as blind. It was a miracle he didn't crush my passengers side in! Amazing how these morons get hired to drive for a living, let alone actually having a licence. Someone replaced this truck driver's brain with a jar of dirt and even he hadn't noticed.

I highly doubt it's legal to obstruct a traffic lane and push attempt to push your way into the next lane. The line had no bearing here. The cameraman had a legal right to be a dick. That is all that matters.

Seeing those tools trying to pop a wheelie then sitting on their arses makes my day, the more damage to their scooters, and the more skin peeled of the better. Their expectations always exceed their capabilities.

Russian drivers have no monopoly on stupidity that is certainly clear but Aussie drivers seem to be a lot better than the rest of the world at avoiding the idiots, there were only two or three minor bumps in this whole video. If it was Russia or the USA there’d be only two or three avoided accidents.
@timareskog24186 жыл бұрын
If you notice on the Russian crash vids, a lot of them are avoidable if the oncoming driver (usually the one with the dash cam) took evasive action instead of just plowing on. Quite a few more just show the stupidity and recklessness of the drivers & pedestrians over there. No common science or road safety education !
@Ghorda96 жыл бұрын
"common science" i think "sense" is the word you're looking for.

I was stuck on the Ring Road when the hail was nuts the other week. Luckily there was a bridge I was able to stop under but there were cars all over stopped along the freeway for 15+ minutes 😊
